First things first, bold of you to assume I'm not currently broke. Secondly, there's lots of things that I'm interested in pursuing after I retire from the league (which hopefully isn't anytime soon). During the season all of my energy is focused on the next game and working towards improving my play, watching film and such. During the offseason though, I've been lucky enough to secure an academics scholarship at Virginia Tech, so that I can hopefully continue my first dream of studying physics. Ultimately I want to work in the quantum field, and maybe even take a crack at time travel, although it's such a complicated subject I'm not sure if I'll be able to make any progress. However, it'll be good to have a job lined up for me once I leave the game, and hopefully a distinguished company like NASA will allow me to work for them. I'm also working on a hobby of mine, which is to cook, and it's a great way to keep me healthy and save some money all at the same time, as I quickly learned that ordering food constantly is a great way to lose money fast. If my physics degree doesn't work out, maybe I'll become a chef and help future players with their diet plans.
