Tier 2:
7. This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S34 class and later. In 300 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?
So far my experience has been positive. Despite being a user in the SHL since 2014, I forgor how hard it was to get used to a new forum be it finding everything you're looking for like the index or your update pages but also just how long it takes to get familiar with it. It is something I took for granted when talking to new players in the SHL since it seems so "obvious" but really it takes time. Otherwise being familiar with update loop and point tasks loop really helped me get around it and earned every TPE I could possibly get. I like that it shares a lot of the same users and that I have some acquaintances in locker rooms I have been invited to. I think Seb from London is a new friend that really helps me out a lot but also Gordon Bombay and Z-Whiz being friends from the SHL helped me figure it out faster. I am satisfied but humble about my player's stats so far as a DE. I like to think that my player's job cannot be fully appreciated simply from statline and that I work as part of a cog in the defensive machine of London. I love watching game lives, probably one of the better aspect from the SHL as you kind of see every play and it doesnt take a lot of times (hockey would take too much time to watch it all). It's like a small happening every tuesday and thursday and we share the good and the bad in the locker room. I have not been drafted yet, usually a part of the game I like the most but where I unfortunatly create too many times at the wrong time to enjoy the draft. Today is the ISFL draft fay, I have been contacted by many teams and so far every team seems like a decent place to paly for and have fun. I hope I can be satisfied within my new organisation and that they will be satisfied of me as well in the future. (350 words)
9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commisioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted?
Nathan Explosion is now the commish of the ISFL. Big changes are coming. He is gonna make the football game metal and here are some steps to reach that goal. First, no more national anthems unless it's a metal version. Now every team gets to pick a Dethklok song and that song is played in place of the Anthems. Jets flying above the stadiums can remain but they must however be armed and ready for war (no need to shoot missiles but it is encouraged).
Second, tackles now give points. Everytime a player loses breath from a tackle it is now worth 2 points. If a player is injured after a clean hit, 3 points. Dirty hits are still 0 points as they have no place in the game. Running backs that stomps thru tackles would also earn points for their team for every bruise they give to the defenders. Sacks also now grant 5 bonus points since they are the favorite aspect of the game for Nathan Explosion. Finally football scores will challenge basketball scores, can't let them have supremacy of the high scores.
Players must take mandatory music lessons to learn a metal music instrument like bass, guitar, drums, voice, keyboard or kazoo. When they score a touchdown, they must then paly their instrument (metal music btw)
The last thing that would make the ISFL ultimate metal is a coffee sponsorship. As such, the Duncan Hill Coffee is now the only official partner of the ISFL. You are dying for a cup of their guatamela blend, ethiopian blend and french vanilla roast. Only black coffee allowed, no creamers, no sugar or anything. Black coffee is metal.
Any player found to not participate in making the ISFL metal would be sent straight to the goulag. Goulag are also metal btw. But since the league also needs to make money players could be fined I guess, they would play and pay a fine for being jazz or soft rock or pop music. Punks could be tolerated if they have a red mohawk hairstyle. (343 words)
