13. I think the general consensus among league members is that expansion is the way of the future and everyone seems keen to expand at all costs. That being said I may be one of the few who actually thinks for the current size of the user base the league is a very appropriate size and that expansion isn't necessary at this time. I think in an ideal SIM world active users occupy all the starting positions in the league. Now of course that creates a bit of an issue when all of the "exciting" positions are occupied making it difficult for new players to break in since experienced and established users already occupy those positions. I know that when I joined positions like OL, DL, Kicker etc never really crossed my mind since they weren't the exciting skill positions (to me at least) so I can see why expanding interests league members in the future but at this time it isn't necessary. ALL of that being said, if we do expand and the league decides to grant me the 15th league team I have a surefire successful team location that will garner world wide attraction and will one day be bigger than the Dallas Cowboys. Allow me to introduce the Tijuana Luchadores! Oh wait that's already taken. Let me try this again... the Saskatchewan Wheateaters. Why Saskatchewan you may ask? Well for anyone who knows Canadian Football the prairies and Saskatchewan in particular has a MASSIVE football following, mainly because there is nothing else to do there, that could easily support a massive ISFL franchise. In my opinion Canada is under represented in the ISFL with one lone franchise in the desolate, isolated Canadian North. As a result of that putting a second team in the heart of the country would be a surefire success. (305 Words)
25. My current position is Receiver and my past user was a Cornerback so if either of those two weren't available it'd be a toss up for me (GMs take note as this may be a hint into my future) between a Running Back or a QB. I've enjoyed my time as CB and WR but I'm ready to be THE star of the show. I think if I had to choose I'd go the QB route - I'm a proven max earner who could easily slide into a starting role and lead a squad to the top. The appeal of being the face of a franchise and perenial MVP candidate is definitely something that is a major draw for me. I enjoyed my time as a CB back in the day but I definitely missed how flashy the stats of a skill position are and what position better to do that in than a QB?! (154 words)
27. I've played for 3 teams during my time in the ISFL and although this may come across as ever so slightly biased but one of those teams has the best branding in the league in my opinion - the Yellowknife Wraiths. What's not to like? Right off the top they are the only Canadian based team in the league and what better location for a Canadian based team than the igloo living, polar bear roaming frozen tundra? Next the colour scheme of the light blue and black is clean as hell and in my opinion is the best in the league. Finally that logo - the spooky ass Wraith is epic. There's a couple of very solid logos in the league but that Wraith shield is top notch and if the ISFL was a legitimate league in real life you better believe yours truly would own himself some dope ass Wraith swag. I'd love to suggest which team needs a remodel but we'll save that for next years Ultimus Week. (168 words)
