Nick Flint from the San Jose Sabercats was invited to a celebrity golf tournament in Columbus, Ohio, his home town. The event was put on to support Nationwide Children's Hospital. Flint was paired with Cole Sillinger of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The two have known of each other over the years but it was the first time Flint got to meet the legendary Hall of Fame Columbus Blue Jacket player. There was a stunning age difference but since Sillinger has been out of the league, he has really improved his golf game. Sillinger was living in Columbus at the time and regularly frequented the Muirfield Village Golf Club, where the tournament was held. All in all, Flint shot a +7 on the tournament, not too bad for a professional football player, while Sillinger shot an impressive -2. The duo came in 4th place in the tournament. The tournament ended up earning 16 million dollars in funding for the hosptial.
