Kaiden King went to a softball tournament charity for the Dallas Hearing Foundation down in Downtown Dallas. He brought the rest of his fellow rookies Chapman and Jice for a little break from the chaos that is the regular season. They had him playing outfield due to his incredible hands on defense. On the opposing team were Dallas Natives Clayton Kershaw, Ernie Banks, and Dennis Rodman. Seems a little bit unfair, but as Birddogs we thrive in the face of adversity. The charity game was really on who could outlast one or the other. Having to play against Clayton Kershaw seems really unfair in my eyes, however any time they tried to home run, I stopped it. Overall, I stopped 3 home run attempts, had two doubles, but no RBIs. It was just a tough day for us. We lost 9-6, not bad if I say so for going against a pitching legend. With that, the game gained a crowd and we ended up with $1 Million dollars all going into the organization. Everyone left thrilled and happy and it was a overall success.
