Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here and this is part 2 of 3 of the Worst ISFL Record in terms of wins and losses from each season. If you have not read part one, here it is so you can get caught up on seasons 1-10 of the worst isfl records:
Part one
Well now that I hope that you have read part one, part two will go over seasons 11-22 and the next part will cover the rest. Like part one, we will go over each season and say small facts about the quarterback play or anything else about the season that interests me. So without any further ado, let's continue this with season 11!
Season 11: San Jose Sabercats at 1-13
They had 228 points for and 411 points against and were winless at home with absolutely no home field advantage in the old sim, where home field advantage seemed to be in effect more (DISCLAIMER: I am only guessing that it mattered more in the old sim) Thier only win came against the Philadelphia Liberty on the road in a 27-21 victory, and thier quarterback Joliet Chrst Jr threw only ten touchdowns to 19 interceptions. He also has both the least amount of attempts and the least amount of passing yards among quarterbacks in the league.
Season 12: Yellowkinfe Wraiths at 3-11, just one less win then the New Orleans Second Line who were 4-10
This team had slightly more luck at home then the last with 2 wins at home but only one win on the road. They had 287 points for and 429 points against, which is actually more points against and points for then the last team. Thier only wins came against Arizona in week one and then Baltimore in week 11 and finally Orange County in week 13. The crazy thing is that Applehort did not play especially bad for them, with 18 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. However he also had the second lowest amount of passing yards and only completed 57% of his passes, so that probably did not help.
Season 13: TIE between the Baltimore Hawks and the Yellowkinfe Wraiths at 4-10. I know they are in the same conference and Baltimore technically had the tiebreaker win over them, but I wanted to talk about both of them.
It's kind of crazy that two teams from the same conference would tie here, and that Yellowkinfe would have a way higher Points Against. Then again, Yellowkinfe would also have a higher points for and that counts for something at least. Yellowkinfe would once again be rocking woth AppleHort at QB, with him having 24 touchdowns to 12 interceptions and also having the lowest amount of passing yards in the league. What's crazy for Baltimore is that thier QB Gambino had the second most amount of passing yards in the league and 26 touchdowns to 17 interceptions, which is especially crazy if you remember what the QB stats were like in the previous part of this season.
Season 14: Arizona Outlaws at 2-12
They had 224 points for and an absolutely terrible 523 points against, nearly 100 more points against then the one above them in the conference. Thier worst loss was an absolute nightmare of a 76-7 loss to the Orange County Otters. Thier quarterback threw 16 touchdowns to 12 interceptions, which is the least amount of touchdowns thrown and the third most amount if interceptions thrown. The Colorado Yeti were definitely the Yeeti that season by the way, with the most amount of passing yards thrown that surpass 5000 yards with 5007 and 18 interceptions thrown, which is the most in the league.
Season 15: TIE between the Colorado Yeti and the New Orleans Second Line with them both being 2-12
Oh look another tie! The Yeti had 258 points for and 474 points against, and the Second Line had 283 points for and 465 points against. So yeah, not much difference there in the end. For NOLA, only once in the regular season did a team score less then 30 points against them, and that is in a 27-13 win against the Arizona Outlaws. The Yeti would have a bit of a better time in that regard, however a 63-13 loss against the Baltimore Hawks probably did not inspire confidence early on. NOLA's QB Maximus the Third would have the least amount of passing yards in the league and threw 17 touchdowns to 15 interceptions. The Yeti quarterback McCormick would have a Winston-like performance with 20 touchdowns to 20 interceptions.
Season 16: the Austin Copperheads at 0-13
And we have yet another winless season, and the Yeti avoid being on this list yet again by one win. Thier offense was absolutely terrible, with 186 points for and 424 points against. In case you are wondering, the Yeti would get thier only win against Austin, throwing the worst record title to them. Thier quarterback Cole would only throw 9 touchdowns to a terrible 21 interceptions and has the least amount of passing yards in the league. A 52.2 completion percentage probably did not help ether.
Season 17: New Orleans Second Line at 4-9
Hey compared to some other seasons like the one before this record is not that bad honestly! It does help that they had 313 points for and 367 points against. The league was super weak this season however, and no team in the league would get double digits in wins. Thier QB who I think was named Stan Francisco had 15 touchdowns to 7 interceptions and had decent passing yards. Not much to talk about this season to be honest with you all.
Season 18: TIE between the Philadelphia Liberty and the San Jose Sabercats at 4-9
Ahh yes, another tie. The ASFC seems a bit stronger overall, but the NSFC is absolutely weak as hell with the Wraiths at the top having 11 wins and the teams below them in the Baltimore Hawks having 6 wins! The Liberty had 286 points for and 317 points against and the Sabercats had a weak offense with 184 points for and 338 points against. The Sabercats would actually win a game over the Liberty 20-10. The Sabercats QB Wright would throw the least amount of passing yards and only throw 9 touchdowns to 15 interceptions, and the Liberty QB Falconi would throw 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
Season 19: the Chicago Butchers at 3-10 who were winless on the road
Once again the league was weak with no team getting double digit wins, however the Butchers were the only team with double digit losses. They had 223 points for and 392 points against. Four teams would scare over 40 points on then as well. The Butchers QB Jenkins would have a lot of passing yards with him being third in them, but would throw only 11 touchdowns to 15 interceptions meaning that he did not get to the endzone much.
Season 20: Chicago Butchers at 4-9
The Butchers get onto the list twice in a row now. They had 308 points for and 321 points against and were once again winless on the road. Do not ask me how this is possible, but the Butchers QB Jenkins had both the most amount of passing yards and touchdowns at 28. He did throw the second amount of interceptions at 12, but still that is absolutely crazy. It just seems that a lot of the team just let him down in the end.
Season 21: TIE between the Philadelphia Liberty and the Arizona Outlaws at 3-10
Only the Orange County Otters would get double digits wins this season with 10. The Liberty would have 248 points for and 356 points against and the Outlaws would have 253 points for and 379 points against. Thier home vs road wins would actually be the complete opposite of each other, with the Liberty having 2 road wins and the Sabercats having 2 home wins. The Outlaws would beat the Liberty in the regular season. The Liberty Quarterback would throw the second least amount of passing yards and 15 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. The Arizona Outlaws QB Jay Cue (I think?) would throw the third most amount of passing yards and throw 21 touchdowns to 10 interceptions.
Season 22: the Chicago Butchers at 1-12
Holy shit thier offense was absolutely horrible. They only had 111 points for and 389 points against! To compare, the Honolulu Hahalua had 4 wins and they had 196 points for and 280 points against. Thier quarterback LaFluer throw a total of ZERO touchdowns to 10 interceptions and only had 704 passing yards. To compare again, the Sarasota Sailfish QB Vega had the second lowest amount of passing yards and they had twice the amount of yards then LaFluer with 1509. This means that all of thier points came threw gield goals or on the ground.
Well that is all for today! I will be doing part 3 hopefully next week, so thank you all for reading and I hope to see you all on the field!
