With the second year of the NSFL coming to a close and the Arizona Outlaws once again taking home the Ultimus Trophy, we get to take a look at how each team did in the fan and merchandise categories. It should come as no surprise who most fans have congregated around as their favorite NSFL team, however, some team numbers may surprise you. The total number of fans that have registered on the NSFL official website is just under 61.3 million fans, which is quite the uptick from last year, which was just under 40 million. This is more than likely due to the expansion to Las Vegas and Philadelphia, adding another east coast city as well as the city that never sleeps and is known for a lot of sports betting and bringing many tourist and big spenders to the area. Let us take a look at how each team has fared.
Disclaimer: These numbers were generated based on city and state/providence size, wins, playoff success, and how many other sports teams are in their state. Because it is early in the life of the NSFL and the Outlaws have dominated the playoffs, the numbers may be skewed more than usual, but were kept realistic.
8. San Jose Sabercats || Last year: 5th/6 teams || 4.27 Million fans || -4.9% fans from last year
With only showing up with 4 wins in each of the first 2 seasons, many fans have not jumped on the San Jose bandwagon. Being located in the most populous state in the U.S.A. may have its perks, however, they have to share the stage with 20 other professional sports teams. Their season was looking very promising early on, but winning only one of their last 10 games had disappointed many fans who seemed to be getting ready for the NBA season and the seemingly now always dominant Golden State Warriors and the NHL season with the always relevant San Jose Sharks. It seems that San Jose has now found their identity and are hoping to turn their misfortunes around in the near future. Many fans are eager to see some good football from these Sabercats.
7. Philadelphia Liberty || Last Year: N/A || 5.19 Million Fans || N/A
Being one of two teams on the east coast of the United States, Philadelphia was able to grab a lot of fans despite their early season woes and offseason uneventfulness. They did sign highly touted WR Fox North out of Penn State who had an amazing year as a rookie, but could not pull themselves out of mediocrity in their inaugural season. Looking towards next season, they should be in the wildcard picture for the NSFC as they did quite well down the stretch and will be able to compete with the very average NSFC, with 3 other teams going 8-6 last year.
6. Colorado Yeti || Last Year: 3rd/6 teams || 5.66 Million Fans || -14.6% fans from last year
Despite being the representative for the NSFC in the Ultimus in the inaugural season of the NSFL, the Colorado Yeti failed to make the playoffs due to a great homestand made by the Baltimore Hawks in the second season. Despite this, the Yeti still played very well and duplicated their win total from Season 1, but many fans wanted to see continued post season success from the club. They have done a very good job bringing in fans from all over primarily due to their open smoking policy in their stadium. The Yeti hope to get back into the playoffs in season three behind more excellent play from Logan Noble, their star Quarterback and their bruising back, Boss Tweed.
5. Las Vegas Legion || Last Year: N/A || 6.05 Million Fans || N/A
In their first year in the NSFL the Las Vegas Legion looked to turn some heads, especially with the acquisition of None Stormblessed, but they sputtered the whole season after a close week one victory over the eventual NSFC champion Baltimore Hawks. Bringing in fans from all over the world was one of the great things that happened in Vegas, however most came to watch the Legion get beat by their opponents each week. Now with the acquisition of some draft picks after a trade with Philadelphia, the Legion are hoping for a sliver of success in the future, but it does look quite bleak at the moment.
4. Baltimore Hawks || Last Year: 6th/6 teams || 6.12 Million Fans || +45.2% fans from last year
The Baltimore Hawks surprised many this season by going 7-0 at home and earning home field advantage in the playoffs, where they narrowly defeated the wraiths, only to get clobbered by the two-time champion Arizona Outlaws. The home crowd was thrilled to never see a loss this season at home and played a huge part in gaining fandom in the city owned by the NFL team, Baltimore Ravens. The Hawks have a lot of work to do before they, or any team can compete with the Outlaws, but they have a great young group of guys to build around, mainly their rookie of the year candidate Darlane Farlane, their hard hitting linebacker Erasmo Broadway, and their multi-talented kicker, Turk Turkleton.
3. Orange County Otters || Last Year: 2nd/6 teams || 7.22 Million Fans || -7.0% fans from last year
The Otters were primed for home field advantage this season after making many moves and improvements to their already dominant team, but they were still three steps behind the Outlaws. Due to having many teams to fall back on in the state of California, the Otters lost a couple of fans, but remained mostly a very popular team in the NSFL. Having to share the spotlight with another California NSFL team also hurts, but they are starting to gain some dedicated fans who have loved their 2-back tandems which included Jenkins and Wright in season one and Jenkins and Bowers Jr. in season two. With Bowers Jr. retiring this past season after seeing results of long term concussion health, the otters may need to find a second back to once again help Jenkins or may need to find a new Identity for their team. Regardless, the fans should be very excited for what is to come in season 3.
2. Yellowknife Wraiths || Last Year: 4th/6 teams || 8.86 Million Fans || +56.7% fans from last year
The Wraiths have been a dominant force on the offense for both seasons so far and hope to continue that trend. Besides the Outlaws playing a cupcake schedule at the end of the season and running up the score, it seemed that the Wraiths were the offense to watch, racking up a total of 300 points on offense, just over 21 points per game. Even though Yellowknife has a population of just under 20,000 people, many fans from around Canada have flocked to the stadium to see this offensive juggernaut do their thing. With no other American rule football teams in Canada (aside from Buffalo), they have accrued a very loyal fan base that does not seem to be going away and only growing stronger. If they keep their core of players that includes Orosz, Garden, and newly acquired Wide Receiver Cook, they should be in contention for the Ultimus in no time, assuming they can finally get a win in the playoffs.
1. Arizona Outlaws || Last Year 1st/6 teams || 17.93 Million Fans || +65.9% fans from last year
The Arizona Outlaws have been as dominant as ever, going 12-2 and winning their second consecutive Ultimus by beating the Baltimore Hawks Quite Handily, 33-6. They are once again favorites to win the Ultimus in season three and may be looking to go for that ever-so-glorious perfect season. The funny thing is that early in the season people were saying the outlaws were only a dominant force on the defensive side of the ball and were getting away with a mediocre offense, but after the second half of the season, they turned on the jets and were dominating teams on all fronts, posting the best points for AND points against by wide margins. It is no surprise that people are flocking to the Outlaws early to avoid the eventual bandwagon banter by opposing fans. Hopefully for the Outlaws they can continue this unprecedented success, and hopefully for all others that the Outlaws will have mercy on them.

Jersey Sales
Now for the part that everyone has been waiting for the annual cunt f Jersey sales for each player in the NSFL. We saw much change from season 1, but you will just have to see as we get started here. As an organization, the NSFL sold 41.5 Million jerseys this past year, a slight uptick from last year. Over the first two season, the NSFL has sold a total of just over 81 Million jerseys.
Disclaimer: These Jersey sales, much like last year, are derived from stats and normalized with all of the other positions to make things more fair for those players that may not have ‘fun’ stats at their disposal. Unlike last year, I added more concrete data to take into account location and fans of each team (as shown above). This information is not to say which player is better than the other, but to be used as kind of a ‘bragging rights’ article for some. Thank You.
25. Archibald Booter || K - Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 451,828 || Last Year Rank: 28th
Archibald Booter has made a name for himself in the Wraiths hometown and hopes to keep it that way. Having made the highest percentage of fieldgoals from season two, as well as going an impressive 12/14 from beyond 40 yards, Booter can proudly call himself a top talent in the kicking department, however, he will need to work on those extra points as he missed 3 of them this past season.
24. Turk Turkleton || K - Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 464,462 || Last Year Rank: 107th
Again, we have a kicker in our top 25 list, but he will not be our last. Turk kicked his team into the NSFL championship game and scored 16 of the Hawks 22 points during their playoff run. If the Hawks offense wasn’t so terrible, he may not have as many jersey sales as he does. There is almost no reason to sport a jersey beside his when he is this important to their offense. Making all but one of his extra points and nailing an impressive 33 of 37 fieldgoals, including three of three from beyond 50 yards, he is the real deal and will hopefully help carry the Hawks back into the playoffs next year.
23. Logan Noble || QB - Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 501,441 || Last Year Rank: 5th
Everyone already has a Logan Noble jersey, so we can just go home now. Even though Noble was a fine Quarterback this past year, he didn’t quite live up the hype that he was last year, bringing his team to the NSFL championship game. The Yeti once again posted a 8-6 year, but because of the resurgence of the Hawks in season 2 and the consistent play of the Wraiths, the Yeti were unable to reach the playoffs. Noble will continue to play well and improve as he gains new teammates and will eventually emerge as one of the better quarterbacks in the league, but for now he will need to sit in the shadows and count his money as his team tries to strategize to get back into the playoffs.
22. Alex Hayden || CB – Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 526,245 || Last Year Rank: 40th
Alex Hayden was one of the better performers on the Colorado Yeti Defense this season, picking off 2 balls and bringing one of them back for a score. Compared to other defensive backs around the league, he may be considered average, but he has really been a huge part of the fan immersion in the city of Denver where they have to compete for fans with the Broncos and Hayden has to compete against Talib and Chris Harris Jr. Hopefully hayden can continue this great play into season 3.
21. Ethan Hunt || QB – San Jose Sabercats || S2 Jersey Sales: 552,126 || Last Year Rank: 106th
Ethan Hunt was a huge part of the Sabercats quick start this season, going 3-1 and looking to be a shoe-in for the playoffs before going 1-9 in the last ten games of the season. The Sabercat fans, or Saberkitties as some have dubbed them, have come to accept Hunt as their franchise QB despite the poor win-loss records shown over the past two years.
20. Lincoln Jefferson || S – Philadelphia Liberty || S2 Jersey Sales: 599,612 || Last Year Rank: 7th
Leading all players in Interceptions and second in tackles for a safety is quite the accomplishment. Adding 9 pass deflections and a defensive touchdown is just icing on the cake. Jefferson had a fine season, but why did he fall in the rankings? Mainly because everyone else got so much better. Absolutely no knock on Jefferson, but if he wants to be a fan favorite, he has to make some exciting plays in the future, but the low jersey sales aren’t indicative of his shutdown style, as he gets almost no attention on gamedays.
19. Scrub Kyubee || QB – Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 601,299 || Last Year Rank: 24th
Mr. Kyubee had a mighty fine first half of the season as the Hawks stumbled into the number one seed in the NSFC, only to sneak out a win against the Wraiths and to be eventually pummeled by the Outlaws. The Hawks don’t have many playmakers on their offense because of their playstyle, besides one rookie who will be named eventually, but they got the job done and got where they needed to, just fell a bit short of their Ultimus goal. Kyubee should be able to add to this performance going into season 3, but hopefully their GM can add some more weapons to his arsenal.
18. Levon Novel || S – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 607,824 || Last Year Rank: 64th
Novel had quite the jump from last year and is seated pretty hear in jersey sales. Novel showed his prowess as a shutdown corner by deflecting 12 balls and not letting receivers escape if they do happen to catch a ball. Look for Novel to continue his great play and hopefully his counterpart Dermot can hold up his side of the field.
17. Dustin Evans || WR – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 663,645 || Last Year Rank: N/A
Evans was quite the backup target for the Arizona Outlaws and his quarterback, King Bronko. Being a top ten receiver for yards, touchdowns, and yards per catch average (eligible receivers), Bronko never had a second thought when throwing the ball up to Evans. With Chess becoming more of an option in their offense, Evans may need to take a step back, but if he keeps up his efficiency, the outlaws will once again dominate the NSFL.
16. Mike Boss || QB – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 679,650 || Last Year rank: 50th
Mike Boss was thought to be the worst quarterback in the NSFL, but his performance during season two proved otherwise. Throwing for over 3,600 yards as well as 21 touchdowns really turns fanbases around, but they are still skeptical about the 16 interceptions. If Boss wants to solidify himself as their franchise QB, he may need to make a trip to the Ultimus, but first he will have to defeat the all-might Outlaws in the playoffs.
15. Hariff Ernston || LB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 681,259 || Last Year Rank: 53rd
Speaking of the Outlaws, Ernston had quite the year for them. Practically shutting down Matthew Vincent in the Ultimus Championship and an impressive stat sheet of 110 tackles, 16 sacks, and 5 interceptions to go along with 9 pass deflections, he may be the NSFL MVP for season 2. It would be quite the accomplishment to duplicate those efforts in season 3, but with all of the allstar-caliber players around him, it shouldn’t be too difficult of a feat.
14. Ryan Flock || S – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 689,403 || Last Year Rank: 47th
Once again, another Arizona Outlaw defensive standout. Many people who bought his jersey thought he played on offense because they kept hearing his name as he crossed into the endzone four times during the season. He added 6 interceptions and 9 pass deflections, but those 4 touchdowns scare quarterbacks into not throwing his way knowing it might be a 12 point swing if things go wrong. A modern day Deion Sanders, so maybe their Coach will put him on offense once in a while to see what he can do.
13. Kendrick Hendrix || WR – Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 895,887 || Last Year Rank: 2nd
Falling a bit from his jersey sales last year, Hendrix was once again a threat for the Colorado Yeti. If being top 5 in receiving yards and racking up the most touchdowns for Receivers this season is what it takes to get your jerseys sold, the Kendrick is doing everything correct. With Noble at the helm as quarterback, look for this duo to light up the field once again next season.
12. Chris Orosz || QB – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 964,464 || Last Year Rank: 23rd
Chris Orosz put on quite the show this past season, leading the league in passer rating and passing yards by a small margin. It helps when you have Garden as your top receiver and were able to utilize the services of Smallwood for half a season and Cook for the other half. Look towards the playoffs, Orosz simply could not get things done against the Hawks, duplicating his performance last year against the Yeti. He is going to have to get rid of these playoff jitters if he wants to continue being the starting QB of this franchise.
11. Robert Phelps || WR – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 988,341 || Last Year Rank: 19th
Phelps had a great season leading the league in receiving yards, second in receptions, and adding 5 touchdowns to his total. Although he was generally considered a top three wide receiver this past year, his jersey sales do not reflect that, which may be due to his low presence with the media off the field. Some media can be good media, but Phelps is playing great and fans hope they can see his graceful play a little longer in Orange County.
10. Darlane Farlane || RB – Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,005,549 || Last Year Rank: N/A
Rookie of the year Candidate Darlane Farlane was absolutely phenomenal during his first season. Although his efficiency dropped off in the second half of the season, he was a work horse and a huge factor in a lot of the Hawks wins this season. Darlane and the Hawks fan base are hoping that they can add to their line for season three to give him some more room to run and pump those rookie numbers up.
9. Mayran Jackson || WR – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,025,259 || Last Year Rank: 125th
With a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball leaving or disappearing from Arizona, Mayran took it upon himself to fix their woes before the season started by switching from safety to Wide Reciever, which was a fantastic choice for him to make. He is such a gifted athlete that after just one season at that position, he vaulted himself to a top 5 wide receiver in the league and the fans were drinking the same kool-aid he was. Look for Mayran to continue his dominance and do what he can to bring the Outlaws success.
8. Shane Weston || WR – San Jose Sabercats || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,046,817 || Last Year Rank: 8th
He sat behind Cook for most of seasons one and two, but once the monumental trade went down, sending Cook to Yellowknife and bringing in star rookie wide receiver Darren Smallwood to San Jose. Now Shane gets to be the mentor. The fans love his loyalty to the franchise and hpe he sticks around for his whole career. They are building something special in San Jose and he wants to be a part of that backbone.
7. Omar Wright || RB – Philadelphia Liberty || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,177,213 || Last Year Rank: 3rd
Being taken away from his rookie team through the expansion draft must have been hard for Omar, especially when Leroy and him worked so well in season one together, but mar has been just as dominant by himself this season, scoring the most touchdowns for running backs this season, nine on the ground and 2 through the air. He was unable to eclipse the century mark once again this season and his head coach must be wondering if it is just a coincidence, or if there may be an actual problem. Regardless, the fans have come to love him in Philly and love to yell his name throughout the stadium and the city on game days.
6. Christiano Ronaldo || P – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,195,064 || Last Year Rank: N/A
The Highest jersey sales for a punter eclipses 1 million sales, which is honestly ridiculous, but Christiano has been that ridiculous this season. Despite only wanting to play punter, Arizona set him up for place kicks and he has thrived in his position, going 40 for 41 in extra points and 25 of 29 for fieldgoals, making all 19 fieldgoals that are within 40 yards of the uprights. Fans love him when he enters the field because he is going to do amazing stuff, whether its pin the other team inside the 20 yard line or show off his dance moves after a fieldgoal try, the crowd goes wild and may be one of the reasons why it is so difficult to play the Outlaws at home this season.
5. Bradley Westfield || WR – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,285,049 || Last Year Rank: 6th
Bradley Westfield continues to outpace is WR counterpart Phelps in jersey sales despite Phelps obviously being the ’more fun’ player to watch. A lot of what Westfield does happens off the field especially doing charity work for Cystic Fibrosis throughout California. Is dedication to the program almost merits a reward if he were not so humble. Westfield will continue to dominate as the number two threat in Orange County, however, defenses should not take their eyes off of him for one second.
4. Josh Garden || WR – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,491,787 || Last Year Rank: 14th
Garden saw his jersey numbers spike towards the end of the season after the team traded away rookie sensation Darren Smallwood. The Organization sent out a notice to everyone who had purchased a Smallwood jersey that they may come in and get a 75% refund or exchange the jersey for a new one of their choosing. Yellowknife fans are very loyal and will no doubt stick with their organization for a long time, but many question if trading away a future talent such as him for an established, but low-ceiling player such as Cook was the best Idea. Regardless, Garden continues to show up each and every week during the REGULAR season and puts on quite the show for the fans.
3. King Bronko || QB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,709,604 || Last Year Rank: 55th
King Bronko turned around a dull season last year and ended up taking over for Vincent Draxel who seems to have disappeared after winning the first Ultimus Trophy. Since his jerseys are practically useless now, Everyone bought up Bronko jerseys and are probably happy that they did. King put up the most TDs for QBs this season with 25 and stayed about average everywhere else, exactly what the Outlaws need to repeat as champions.
2. None Stormblessed || WR – Las Vegas Legion || S2 Jersey Sales: 2,003,376 || Last Year Rank: 1st
The only Legion player on this list continues to impress everyone despite not having any help from his teammates. Stormblessed has his name on the back of 45% of all Legion jerseys! If you don’t think that is insane, the next closest was Omar Wright with 30% of jersey sales for his team. Everyone loves Stormblessed and he will continue to produce. #blessed.
1. Reg Mackworthy || RB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 3,401,905 || Last Year Rank: 25th
Mackworthy came in and dethroned Stormblessed from being the top player in jersey sales. He had a great year sitting #2 for yards, attempts, and touchdowns produced through the run game, however, he was #1 in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns for running backs in the passing game. He also added a punt return TD and was top 5 in both punt and kickoff return average yards in the league. He was truly a multipurpose weapon for the Outlaws and the fans absolutely love him in Arizona.

yes, I see the error with Jayce Tuck. I did fix the values, however I forgot to edit the position. All is well. With 7 of the top 25 players belonging to the Outlaws, it is to no surprise that they are one of the most favorite teams in the league. the potential MVP of the league, Jayce Tuck ended just outside of the top 25, but if he does win the MVP, look for his Jersey sale numbers to change once we hit season 3. Other notable players are I. Rashad who took the league (and Mike Boss) by storm last year with 10 total Interceptions, and lets not forget C.A. Chess who has been a very good #2 Wide Receiver for the Outlaws this past season.
Baltimore Hawks:

The Baltimore Hawks had a very surprising season, doubling their win total from last year, winning the conference, and representing the NSFC in the Championship game before their dream season came to an end at the hands of the Outlaws. Farlane, Cooper, and Kyubee had their moments on the offensive end to carry the team, but dont forget about the defensive side of the ball. J.D. boom was a great help as a pick up on waivers and Broadway and Delacour had probowl-esque seasons in their respective positions. The only downside of the Hawks season besides the Ultimus loss were the two #TPEgate cases as well as #DeleteGate. Had these not happened, the Hawks may have flown under the radar a little longer and really been a surprise to everyone, but I think we can all agree that it is best that these cases were settled when they did and that the future damage will be minimal thanks to the NSFL commissioners great decision making abilities. The Hawks front office decided to offer free refunds of the Carmel Gibson jerseys so that they may have a new jersey of a non-cheating player, however, most hawks fans did not cash in on this offer due to wanting a memento of history.
Colorado Yeti:

The Colorado Yeti finished the season at 8-6 and just missed the playoffs by a tiebreaker, one that may be controversial and might be remedied in the future. Despite this, they have quite the loyal fan base and hope to continue to build their team around their young stars, QB Logan Noble, RB Boss Tweed, and Their Trio of strong Linebackers, Tiernan, Fulton, and Saint. The Big Surprise of the season was seeing Torque Lewith, a QB out of Nevada, switch positions to safety after first letting everyone know that he would only play QB in the NSFL. Whether it was a great persuasive speech given by the Yeti GM, or if it was a ploy this whole time, Lewith had a great season on the defensive side of the ball and will hopefully continue his great play in seasons to come.
Las Vegas Legion:

The Legion thought to be the better expansion team at the beginning of the season with all of the trades being made and the stars they were acquiring, and then they had the close overtime win over the Hawks, and more people keep jumping on the bandwagon, but after that, the wheels fell off and the team collapsed, finishing the season at three wins and 11 losses. Mike Bercovici signed a league leading contract prior to the season, but did not live up to the money. Stormblessed was acquired through the expansion draft and was thought to carry them to the playoffs, but did start producing at a high rate until the second half of the season. Savea and Shoate were also great players during the season and the fans would love to see them produce once again going into season three.
Orange County Otters:

Orange County has had a hard time with having Arizona in their conference and stopping the Otters from making anything exciting happen in their conference. still having an impressive record of 8-6 and making the playoffs, Otter fans should not be disappointed in the season they had. some concerns may be raised though with the early retirement of Vick Bowers Jr. as he was a crucial part of their runningback tandem that once again did very well against their competition. Fans may have to find new Willie jerseys as he was a fan favorite as a waiver pick up, but will be entering the season three draft that is upcoming. The otters would love to use his services once again, however, it is unlikely that he will fall to their draft position.
Philadelphia Liberty:

The Liberty did not have a high Hype train going into season two as an expansion team, but they built their roster well around the expansion draft and the season two draft and are poised to do well going into the future. they started off very slow, but were on a roll as the season ended, finishing 5-9 in a very tough NSFC conference. some shining moments for the Liberty were the additions of Fox North and Omar Wright who carried their offense for most of the season. They may be loking for a new quarterback as the Liberty fans have booed Jamies Christ off the field for most of the season, but he still has some loyal fans who believe he can be the quarterback of the Liberty's future.
San Jose Sabercats:

Once again, the Sabercats finish their season at 4-10 and are looking to continue to build in the draft. they made a headline breaking move late in season two bringing rookie standout Darren Smallwood to the team in exchange for Bailey Cook. They did keep their number 2 wide out Shane Weston, who seemed to be the fan favorite even with Cook still in San Jose. The San Jose fans have really bought into the idea of waiting for a championship as they try to build the franchise into a long lasting dynasty. Notable players that have been a face to the fans for the rebuilding process have been Ethan Hunt, John Canton, Break Bottles, and Ja Brill. Hopefully their season three team can make more of an impact than just four wins.
Yellowknife Wraiths:

Last and certainly not least is the Yellowknife Wraiths. As mentioned many times, a huge blockbuster trade between them and the 'Cats sending Wide Receivers both ways really helped to solidify the wraiths position in the playoffs. They have a really dedicated fan base in Canada and hope to continue their great fan appreciation nights. some players that the fans have latched onto are potential probowlers Archibald Booter and Chris Orosz, as well as the first overall pick from the season 2 draft, Dermott Lavelle. He may have not quite live up to his draft place, allowing many receiving yards against, but the fans still have hope for the #1 pick going into season three. Brice Boggs was possibly the surprise of the season, being picked up in waivers and being a dominate force and small gleaming moment for the terrible Wraiths defense.

Because it is early in the life of the NSFL and the Outlaws have dominated the playoffs, the numbers may be skewed more than usual, but were kept realistic.
8. San Jose Sabercats || Last year: 5th/6 teams || 4.27 Million fans || -4.9% fans from last year
With only showing up with 4 wins in each of the first 2 seasons, many fans have not jumped on the San Jose bandwagon. Being located in the most populous state in the U.S.A. may have its perks, however, they have to share the stage with 20 other professional sports teams. Their season was looking very promising early on, but winning only one of their last 10 games had disappointed many fans who seemed to be getting ready for the NBA season and the seemingly now always dominant Golden State Warriors and the NHL season with the always relevant San Jose Sharks. It seems that San Jose has now found their identity and are hoping to turn their misfortunes around in the near future. Many fans are eager to see some good football from these Sabercats.
7. Philadelphia Liberty || Last Year: N/A || 5.19 Million Fans || N/A
Being one of two teams on the east coast of the United States, Philadelphia was able to grab a lot of fans despite their early season woes and offseason uneventfulness. They did sign highly touted WR Fox North out of Penn State who had an amazing year as a rookie, but could not pull themselves out of mediocrity in their inaugural season. Looking towards next season, they should be in the wildcard picture for the NSFC as they did quite well down the stretch and will be able to compete with the very average NSFC, with 3 other teams going 8-6 last year.
6. Colorado Yeti || Last Year: 3rd/6 teams || 5.66 Million Fans || -14.6% fans from last year
Despite being the representative for the NSFC in the Ultimus in the inaugural season of the NSFL, the Colorado Yeti failed to make the playoffs due to a great homestand made by the Baltimore Hawks in the second season. Despite this, the Yeti still played very well and duplicated their win total from Season 1, but many fans wanted to see continued post season success from the club. They have done a very good job bringing in fans from all over primarily due to their open smoking policy in their stadium. The Yeti hope to get back into the playoffs in season three behind more excellent play from Logan Noble, their star Quarterback and their bruising back, Boss Tweed.
5. Las Vegas Legion || Last Year: N/A || 6.05 Million Fans || N/A
In their first year in the NSFL the Las Vegas Legion looked to turn some heads, especially with the acquisition of None Stormblessed, but they sputtered the whole season after a close week one victory over the eventual NSFC champion Baltimore Hawks. Bringing in fans from all over the world was one of the great things that happened in Vegas, however most came to watch the Legion get beat by their opponents each week. Now with the acquisition of some draft picks after a trade with Philadelphia, the Legion are hoping for a sliver of success in the future, but it does look quite bleak at the moment.
4. Baltimore Hawks || Last Year: 6th/6 teams || 6.12 Million Fans || +45.2% fans from last year
The Baltimore Hawks surprised many this season by going 7-0 at home and earning home field advantage in the playoffs, where they narrowly defeated the wraiths, only to get clobbered by the two-time champion Arizona Outlaws. The home crowd was thrilled to never see a loss this season at home and played a huge part in gaining fandom in the city owned by the NFL team, Baltimore Ravens. The Hawks have a lot of work to do before they, or any team can compete with the Outlaws, but they have a great young group of guys to build around, mainly their rookie of the year candidate Darlane Farlane, their hard hitting linebacker Erasmo Broadway, and their multi-talented kicker, Turk Turkleton.
3. Orange County Otters || Last Year: 2nd/6 teams || 7.22 Million Fans || -7.0% fans from last year
The Otters were primed for home field advantage this season after making many moves and improvements to their already dominant team, but they were still three steps behind the Outlaws. Due to having many teams to fall back on in the state of California, the Otters lost a couple of fans, but remained mostly a very popular team in the NSFL. Having to share the spotlight with another California NSFL team also hurts, but they are starting to gain some dedicated fans who have loved their 2-back tandems which included Jenkins and Wright in season one and Jenkins and Bowers Jr. in season two. With Bowers Jr. retiring this past season after seeing results of long term concussion health, the otters may need to find a second back to once again help Jenkins or may need to find a new Identity for their team. Regardless, the fans should be very excited for what is to come in season 3.
2. Yellowknife Wraiths || Last Year: 4th/6 teams || 8.86 Million Fans || +56.7% fans from last year
The Wraiths have been a dominant force on the offense for both seasons so far and hope to continue that trend. Besides the Outlaws playing a cupcake schedule at the end of the season and running up the score, it seemed that the Wraiths were the offense to watch, racking up a total of 300 points on offense, just over 21 points per game. Even though Yellowknife has a population of just under 20,000 people, many fans from around Canada have flocked to the stadium to see this offensive juggernaut do their thing. With no other American rule football teams in Canada (aside from Buffalo), they have accrued a very loyal fan base that does not seem to be going away and only growing stronger. If they keep their core of players that includes Orosz, Garden, and newly acquired Wide Receiver Cook, they should be in contention for the Ultimus in no time, assuming they can finally get a win in the playoffs.
1. Arizona Outlaws || Last Year 1st/6 teams || 17.93 Million Fans || +65.9% fans from last year
The Arizona Outlaws have been as dominant as ever, going 12-2 and winning their second consecutive Ultimus by beating the Baltimore Hawks Quite Handily, 33-6. They are once again favorites to win the Ultimus in season three and may be looking to go for that ever-so-glorious perfect season. The funny thing is that early in the season people were saying the outlaws were only a dominant force on the defensive side of the ball and were getting away with a mediocre offense, but after the second half of the season, they turned on the jets and were dominating teams on all fronts, posting the best points for AND points against by wide margins. It is no surprise that people are flocking to the Outlaws early to avoid the eventual bandwagon banter by opposing fans. Hopefully for the Outlaws they can continue this unprecedented success, and hopefully for all others that the Outlaws will have mercy on them.

Jersey Sales
Now for the part that everyone has been waiting for the annual cunt f Jersey sales for each player in the NSFL. We saw much change from season 1, but you will just have to see as we get started here. As an organization, the NSFL sold 41.5 Million jerseys this past year, a slight uptick from last year. Over the first two season, the NSFL has sold a total of just over 81 Million jerseys.
Disclaimer: These Jersey sales, much like last year, are derived from stats and normalized with all of the other positions to make things more fair for those players that may not have ‘fun’ stats at their disposal. Unlike last year, I added more concrete data to take into account location and fans of each team (as shown above). This information is not to say which player is better than the other, but to be used as kind of a ‘bragging rights’ article for some. Thank You.
25. Archibald Booter || K - Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 451,828 || Last Year Rank: 28th
Archibald Booter has made a name for himself in the Wraiths hometown and hopes to keep it that way. Having made the highest percentage of fieldgoals from season two, as well as going an impressive 12/14 from beyond 40 yards, Booter can proudly call himself a top talent in the kicking department, however, he will need to work on those extra points as he missed 3 of them this past season.
24. Turk Turkleton || K - Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 464,462 || Last Year Rank: 107th
Again, we have a kicker in our top 25 list, but he will not be our last. Turk kicked his team into the NSFL championship game and scored 16 of the Hawks 22 points during their playoff run. If the Hawks offense wasn’t so terrible, he may not have as many jersey sales as he does. There is almost no reason to sport a jersey beside his when he is this important to their offense. Making all but one of his extra points and nailing an impressive 33 of 37 fieldgoals, including three of three from beyond 50 yards, he is the real deal and will hopefully help carry the Hawks back into the playoffs next year.
23. Logan Noble || QB - Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 501,441 || Last Year Rank: 5th
Everyone already has a Logan Noble jersey, so we can just go home now. Even though Noble was a fine Quarterback this past year, he didn’t quite live up the hype that he was last year, bringing his team to the NSFL championship game. The Yeti once again posted a 8-6 year, but because of the resurgence of the Hawks in season 2 and the consistent play of the Wraiths, the Yeti were unable to reach the playoffs. Noble will continue to play well and improve as he gains new teammates and will eventually emerge as one of the better quarterbacks in the league, but for now he will need to sit in the shadows and count his money as his team tries to strategize to get back into the playoffs.
22. Alex Hayden || CB – Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 526,245 || Last Year Rank: 40th
Alex Hayden was one of the better performers on the Colorado Yeti Defense this season, picking off 2 balls and bringing one of them back for a score. Compared to other defensive backs around the league, he may be considered average, but he has really been a huge part of the fan immersion in the city of Denver where they have to compete for fans with the Broncos and Hayden has to compete against Talib and Chris Harris Jr. Hopefully hayden can continue this great play into season 3.
21. Ethan Hunt || QB – San Jose Sabercats || S2 Jersey Sales: 552,126 || Last Year Rank: 106th
Ethan Hunt was a huge part of the Sabercats quick start this season, going 3-1 and looking to be a shoe-in for the playoffs before going 1-9 in the last ten games of the season. The Sabercat fans, or Saberkitties as some have dubbed them, have come to accept Hunt as their franchise QB despite the poor win-loss records shown over the past two years.
20. Lincoln Jefferson || S – Philadelphia Liberty || S2 Jersey Sales: 599,612 || Last Year Rank: 7th
Leading all players in Interceptions and second in tackles for a safety is quite the accomplishment. Adding 9 pass deflections and a defensive touchdown is just icing on the cake. Jefferson had a fine season, but why did he fall in the rankings? Mainly because everyone else got so much better. Absolutely no knock on Jefferson, but if he wants to be a fan favorite, he has to make some exciting plays in the future, but the low jersey sales aren’t indicative of his shutdown style, as he gets almost no attention on gamedays.
19. Scrub Kyubee || QB – Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 601,299 || Last Year Rank: 24th
Mr. Kyubee had a mighty fine first half of the season as the Hawks stumbled into the number one seed in the NSFC, only to sneak out a win against the Wraiths and to be eventually pummeled by the Outlaws. The Hawks don’t have many playmakers on their offense because of their playstyle, besides one rookie who will be named eventually, but they got the job done and got where they needed to, just fell a bit short of their Ultimus goal. Kyubee should be able to add to this performance going into season 3, but hopefully their GM can add some more weapons to his arsenal.
18. Levon Novel || S – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 607,824 || Last Year Rank: 64th
Novel had quite the jump from last year and is seated pretty hear in jersey sales. Novel showed his prowess as a shutdown corner by deflecting 12 balls and not letting receivers escape if they do happen to catch a ball. Look for Novel to continue his great play and hopefully his counterpart Dermot can hold up his side of the field.
17. Dustin Evans || WR – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 663,645 || Last Year Rank: N/A
Evans was quite the backup target for the Arizona Outlaws and his quarterback, King Bronko. Being a top ten receiver for yards, touchdowns, and yards per catch average (eligible receivers), Bronko never had a second thought when throwing the ball up to Evans. With Chess becoming more of an option in their offense, Evans may need to take a step back, but if he keeps up his efficiency, the outlaws will once again dominate the NSFL.
16. Mike Boss || QB – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 679,650 || Last Year rank: 50th
Mike Boss was thought to be the worst quarterback in the NSFL, but his performance during season two proved otherwise. Throwing for over 3,600 yards as well as 21 touchdowns really turns fanbases around, but they are still skeptical about the 16 interceptions. If Boss wants to solidify himself as their franchise QB, he may need to make a trip to the Ultimus, but first he will have to defeat the all-might Outlaws in the playoffs.
15. Hariff Ernston || LB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 681,259 || Last Year Rank: 53rd
Speaking of the Outlaws, Ernston had quite the year for them. Practically shutting down Matthew Vincent in the Ultimus Championship and an impressive stat sheet of 110 tackles, 16 sacks, and 5 interceptions to go along with 9 pass deflections, he may be the NSFL MVP for season 2. It would be quite the accomplishment to duplicate those efforts in season 3, but with all of the allstar-caliber players around him, it shouldn’t be too difficult of a feat.
14. Ryan Flock || S – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 689,403 || Last Year Rank: 47th
Once again, another Arizona Outlaw defensive standout. Many people who bought his jersey thought he played on offense because they kept hearing his name as he crossed into the endzone four times during the season. He added 6 interceptions and 9 pass deflections, but those 4 touchdowns scare quarterbacks into not throwing his way knowing it might be a 12 point swing if things go wrong. A modern day Deion Sanders, so maybe their Coach will put him on offense once in a while to see what he can do.
13. Kendrick Hendrix || WR – Colorado Yeti || S2 Jersey Sales: 895,887 || Last Year Rank: 2nd
Falling a bit from his jersey sales last year, Hendrix was once again a threat for the Colorado Yeti. If being top 5 in receiving yards and racking up the most touchdowns for Receivers this season is what it takes to get your jerseys sold, the Kendrick is doing everything correct. With Noble at the helm as quarterback, look for this duo to light up the field once again next season.
12. Chris Orosz || QB – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 964,464 || Last Year Rank: 23rd
Chris Orosz put on quite the show this past season, leading the league in passer rating and passing yards by a small margin. It helps when you have Garden as your top receiver and were able to utilize the services of Smallwood for half a season and Cook for the other half. Look towards the playoffs, Orosz simply could not get things done against the Hawks, duplicating his performance last year against the Yeti. He is going to have to get rid of these playoff jitters if he wants to continue being the starting QB of this franchise.
11. Robert Phelps || WR – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 988,341 || Last Year Rank: 19th
Phelps had a great season leading the league in receiving yards, second in receptions, and adding 5 touchdowns to his total. Although he was generally considered a top three wide receiver this past year, his jersey sales do not reflect that, which may be due to his low presence with the media off the field. Some media can be good media, but Phelps is playing great and fans hope they can see his graceful play a little longer in Orange County.
10. Darlane Farlane || RB – Baltimore Hawks || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,005,549 || Last Year Rank: N/A
Rookie of the year Candidate Darlane Farlane was absolutely phenomenal during his first season. Although his efficiency dropped off in the second half of the season, he was a work horse and a huge factor in a lot of the Hawks wins this season. Darlane and the Hawks fan base are hoping that they can add to their line for season three to give him some more room to run and pump those rookie numbers up.
9. Mayran Jackson || WR – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,025,259 || Last Year Rank: 125th
With a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball leaving or disappearing from Arizona, Mayran took it upon himself to fix their woes before the season started by switching from safety to Wide Reciever, which was a fantastic choice for him to make. He is such a gifted athlete that after just one season at that position, he vaulted himself to a top 5 wide receiver in the league and the fans were drinking the same kool-aid he was. Look for Mayran to continue his dominance and do what he can to bring the Outlaws success.
8. Shane Weston || WR – San Jose Sabercats || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,046,817 || Last Year Rank: 8th
He sat behind Cook for most of seasons one and two, but once the monumental trade went down, sending Cook to Yellowknife and bringing in star rookie wide receiver Darren Smallwood to San Jose. Now Shane gets to be the mentor. The fans love his loyalty to the franchise and hpe he sticks around for his whole career. They are building something special in San Jose and he wants to be a part of that backbone.
7. Omar Wright || RB – Philadelphia Liberty || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,177,213 || Last Year Rank: 3rd
Being taken away from his rookie team through the expansion draft must have been hard for Omar, especially when Leroy and him worked so well in season one together, but mar has been just as dominant by himself this season, scoring the most touchdowns for running backs this season, nine on the ground and 2 through the air. He was unable to eclipse the century mark once again this season and his head coach must be wondering if it is just a coincidence, or if there may be an actual problem. Regardless, the fans have come to love him in Philly and love to yell his name throughout the stadium and the city on game days.
6. Christiano Ronaldo || P – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,195,064 || Last Year Rank: N/A
The Highest jersey sales for a punter eclipses 1 million sales, which is honestly ridiculous, but Christiano has been that ridiculous this season. Despite only wanting to play punter, Arizona set him up for place kicks and he has thrived in his position, going 40 for 41 in extra points and 25 of 29 for fieldgoals, making all 19 fieldgoals that are within 40 yards of the uprights. Fans love him when he enters the field because he is going to do amazing stuff, whether its pin the other team inside the 20 yard line or show off his dance moves after a fieldgoal try, the crowd goes wild and may be one of the reasons why it is so difficult to play the Outlaws at home this season.
5. Bradley Westfield || WR – Orange County Otters || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,285,049 || Last Year Rank: 6th
Bradley Westfield continues to outpace is WR counterpart Phelps in jersey sales despite Phelps obviously being the ’more fun’ player to watch. A lot of what Westfield does happens off the field especially doing charity work for Cystic Fibrosis throughout California. Is dedication to the program almost merits a reward if he were not so humble. Westfield will continue to dominate as the number two threat in Orange County, however, defenses should not take their eyes off of him for one second.
4. Josh Garden || WR – Yellowknife Wraiths || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,491,787 || Last Year Rank: 14th
Garden saw his jersey numbers spike towards the end of the season after the team traded away rookie sensation Darren Smallwood. The Organization sent out a notice to everyone who had purchased a Smallwood jersey that they may come in and get a 75% refund or exchange the jersey for a new one of their choosing. Yellowknife fans are very loyal and will no doubt stick with their organization for a long time, but many question if trading away a future talent such as him for an established, but low-ceiling player such as Cook was the best Idea. Regardless, Garden continues to show up each and every week during the REGULAR season and puts on quite the show for the fans.
3. King Bronko || QB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 1,709,604 || Last Year Rank: 55th
King Bronko turned around a dull season last year and ended up taking over for Vincent Draxel who seems to have disappeared after winning the first Ultimus Trophy. Since his jerseys are practically useless now, Everyone bought up Bronko jerseys and are probably happy that they did. King put up the most TDs for QBs this season with 25 and stayed about average everywhere else, exactly what the Outlaws need to repeat as champions.
2. None Stormblessed || WR – Las Vegas Legion || S2 Jersey Sales: 2,003,376 || Last Year Rank: 1st
The only Legion player on this list continues to impress everyone despite not having any help from his teammates. Stormblessed has his name on the back of 45% of all Legion jerseys! If you don’t think that is insane, the next closest was Omar Wright with 30% of jersey sales for his team. Everyone loves Stormblessed and he will continue to produce. #blessed.
1. Reg Mackworthy || RB – Arizona Outlaws || S2 Jersey Sales: 3,401,905 || Last Year Rank: 25th
Mackworthy came in and dethroned Stormblessed from being the top player in jersey sales. He had a great year sitting #2 for yards, attempts, and touchdowns produced through the run game, however, he was #1 in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns for running backs in the passing game. He also added a punt return TD and was top 5 in both punt and kickoff return average yards in the league. He was truly a multipurpose weapon for the Outlaws and the fans absolutely love him in Arizona.

Arizona Outlaws:

With 7 of the top 25 players belonging to the Outlaws, it is to no surprise that they are one of the most favorite teams in the league. the potential MVP of the league, Jayce Tuck ended just outside of the top 25, but if he does win the MVP, look for his Jersey sale numbers to change once we hit season 3. Other notable players are I. Rashad who took the league (and Mike Boss) by storm last year with 10 total Interceptions, and lets not forget C.A. Chess who has been a very good #2 Wide Receiver for the Outlaws this past season.
Baltimore Hawks:

[/div]The Baltimore Hawks had a very surprising season, doubling their win total from last year, winning the conference, and representing the NSFC in the Championship game before their dream season came to an end at the hands of the Outlaws. Farlane, Cooper, and Kyubee had their moments on the offensive end to carry the team, but dont forget about the defensive side of the ball. J.D. boom was a great help as a pick up on waivers and Broadway and Delacour had probowl-esque seasons in their respective positions. The only downside of the Hawks season besides the Ultimus loss were the two #TPEgate cases as well as #DeleteGate. Had these not happened, the Hawks may have flown under the radar a little longer and really been a surprise to everyone, but I think we can all agree that it is best that these cases were settled when they did and that the future damage will be minimal thanks to the NSFL commissioners great decision making abilities. The Hawks front office decided to offer free refunds of the Carmel Gibson jerseys so that they may have a new jersey of a non-cheating player, however, most hawks fans did not cash in on this offer due to wanting a memento of history.
Colorado Yeti:

[/div]The Colorado Yeti finished the season at 8-6 and just missed the playoffs by a tiebreaker, one that may be controversial and might be remedied in the future. Despite this, they have quite the loyal fan base and hope to continue to build their team around their young stars, QB Logan Noble, RB Boss Tweed, and Their Trio of strong Linebackers, Tiernan, Fulton, and Saint. The Big Surprise of the season was seeing Torque Lewith, a QB out of Nevada, switch positions to safety after first letting everyone know that he would only play QB in the NSFL. Whether it was a great persuasive speech given by the Yeti GM, or if it was a ploy this whole time, Lewith had a great season on the defensive side of the ball and will hopefully continue his great play in seasons to come.
Las Vegas Legion:

[align]The Legion thought to be the better expansion team at the beginning of the season with all of the trades being made and the stars they were acquiring, and then they had the close overtime win over the Hawks, and more people keep jumping on the bandwagon, but after that, the wheels fell off and the team collapsed, finishing the season at three wins and 11 losses. Mike Bercovici signed a league leading contract prior to the season, but did not live up to the money. Stormblessed was acquired through the expansion draft and was thought to carry them to the playoffs, but did start producing at a high rate until the second half of the season. Savea and Shoate were also great players during the season and the fans would love to see them produce once again going into season three.
Orange County Otters:

[/div]Orange County has had a hard time with having Arizona in their conference and stopping the Otters from making anything exciting happen in their conference. still having an impressive record of 8-6 and making the playoffs, Otter fans should not be disappointed in the season they had. some concerns may be raised though with the early retirement of Vick Bowers Jr. as he was a crucial part of their runningback tandem that once again did very well against their competition. Fans may have to find new Willie jerseys as he was a fan favorite as a waiver pick up, but will be entering the season three draft that is upcoming. The otters would love to use his services once again, however, it is unlikely that he will fall to their draft position.

[/div]The Liberty did not have a high Hype train going into season two as an expansion team, but they built their roster well around the expansion draft and the season two draft and are poised to do well going into the future. they started off very slow, but were on a roll as the season ended, finishing 5-9 in a very tough NSFC conference. some shining moments for the Liberty were the additions of Fox North and Omar Wright who carried their offense for most of the season. They may be loking for a new quarterback as the Liberty fans have booed Jamies Christ off the field for most of the season, but he still has some loyal fans who believe he can be the quarterback of the Liberty's future.
San Jose Sabercats:

[/div]Once again, the Sabercats finish their season at 4-10 and are looking to continue to build in the draft. they made a headline breaking move late in season two bringing rookie standout Darren Smallwood to the team in exchange for Bailey Cook. They did keep their number 2 wide out Shane Weston, who seemed to be the fan favorite even with Cook still in San Jose. The San Jose fans have really bought into the idea of waiting for a championship as they try to build the franchise into a long lasting dynasty. Notable players that have been a face to the fans for the rebuilding process have been Ethan Hunt, John Canton, Break Bottles, and Ja Brill. Hopefully their season three team can make more of an impact than just four wins.
Yellowknife Wraiths:

[/div]Last and certainly not least is the Yellowknife Wraiths. As mentioned many times, a huge blockbuster trade between them and the 'Cats sending Wide Receivers both ways really helped to solidify the wraiths position in the playoffs. They have a really dedicated fan base in Canada and hope to continue their great fan appreciation nights. some players that the fans have latched onto are potential probowlers Archibald Booter and Chris Orosz, as well as the first overall pick from the season 2 draft, Dermott Lavelle. He may have not quite live up to his draft place, allowing many receiving yards against, but the fans still have hope for the #1 pick going into season three. Brice Boggs was possibly the surprise of the season, being picked up in waivers and being a dominate force and small gleaming moment for the terrible Wraiths defense.
