If I was in charge of organizing a halftime show to entertain the crowds at a Baltimore Hawks home game, I'd want to make sure to provide an unforgettable experience for the fans. Many halftimes have musical shows, marching band performances, or displays of skill by people with a unique talent. But for this event, we would give attendees a show that is impossible to see anywhere outside of Baltimore - a dance off competition between members of the two competing teams. Now, the teams may not appreciate this because it cuts into their opportunity to rest and strategize during the halftime break, but I think it is worth it to draw eyeballs to the game and television broadcast. Who wouldn't tune in to watch Gimmy Jaroppolo Jr. bust a move? What kind of airborne choreography will Busch Goose cook up? And how will the visiting team manage to match up with the athleticism on display? I hope that everyone manages to have a great time, although hopefully the dance moves are not so intense that it causes someone to suffer a non-contact injury that will limit their ability to continue playing. That would be a really bad outcome. In conclusion, I don't think the team is going to let me pick the halftime show anytime soon.
