For the Philadelphia Liberty, at halftime we would have what we like to call the Liberty Leap Contest at halftime. What we do for this is each team nominates a player from their own team that is participating in the game and they both go out to midfield at halftime. When the players get there, they have 3 tries to jump from the 50 yard line as far as they can. They can approach this however they want and use any props they bring with them, such as a trampoline or a pogo stick. The Liberty usually win this contest because we know that it is going to happen ahead of time and are able to practice for it while it usually catches the other team off guard. This sets a menacing tone for our team and allows us to come out in the second half and really play as well as we possibly can!
