It is long overdue that the Dallas Birddogs put on a fan appreciation day. Fan favorite, Tank McGibbons, the charismatic offensive lineman turned linebacker, has taken the lead this year. Tank has arranged for the street outside of the stadium to be closed for the day. Several food trucks line the street, with several activities for the kids such as bounce houses and throwing challenges. Everything aside from alcohol has been paid for by the players themselves. "The fans spend so much time, money, and energy for us, its the least we could do" Dallas GM Hammer is on record as saying. For season ticket holders, there is a player meet and greet area where autographs can be signed and pictures taken. But the best part is the youth/pro flag football game. Kids can sign up to play with their favorite pro players! So far there have only been 24 injured children from questionable flag pulls, so its been a success.
