Fans are fickle. Unless you’re in Buffalo New York fan loyalty and attendance is rather difficult to maintain unless you’re consistently successful. The bigger the market the harder the fans are to please and in New York City there is no bigger market and no lack of other entertainment for fans to enjoy. Safe to say the Silverbacks haven’t been the best franchise the last few years and making sure The Silverbacks home stadium was still rocking every week is a high priority for ownership. To make sure this goal was met they had the rookie class every season tour the fan draft watch parties to create a true connection to the players. Following the S36 ISFL draft Mandrews McHollywood and Teemo Swift and Bonzi Buddy went around headlining meet and greets creating excitement for when they were to be called up the following season. Matthew Mara was the only S37 rookie able to attend afterwards but his personality more than made up for the lack of numbers.
