Without the fans, there is no ISFL. The diehards that show up to our stadiums each week and pour their emotions into our jobs, it helps motivate me to play better. Something that I think is great is how the Coyotes work to acknowledge their most dedicated fans, the season ticket holders. At the beginning of each season, the team throws a big party at the stadium. First, season ticket holders get to watch what is essentially our first real practice as a team. Then, after the practice is over the fans come onto the field for Meat and Greet. Being in Kansas City, home of some of the worlds best BBQ, we have world renowned pit masters put together a feast while fans and players mingle and eat a great meal together. Yard games, autographs, photo booths, almost anything you can think of. I'm glad that I play somewhere that the fans are so greatly appreciated. It was cool to experience some real BBQ for the first time ever and get to meet some longtime Coyotes fans.
