Since I technically have 2 players active this season, I’ll opt to cover both of their offseason ventures. First, let’s start with the soon to be retired Brandon Prince. After spending the entirety of his 9 season career with the Silverbacks, Prince will retire with over 5000 rushing yards, and over 1000 receiving yards. For the first time in a long time, he’ll be spending the offseason on the couch, not having to worry about football in the slightest. Freshly minted Minnesota Grey Ducks linebacker Donte Darius will have a much different offseason. Darius has recently been picked up from the waiver wire by Minnesota, and though his time with the team will be brief, he hopes to make an immediate impact. Following the season’s conclusion, Darius will be subject to the rigorous scouting and combine process, answering to every GM, coach, and team in the league. Following that, he will be selected in the DSFL draft, where he will find a more permanent home.
