This was a great read! Thanks for taking the time to pen your thoughts and experiences!
Quote:I think this league has something of a fraternity problem. A lot of folks play somewhere, settle down their roots, and have a hard time leaving. Sometimes they even work their way into landing with a specific team through the draft. I think that’s a shame. Sure, I spent my entire first player’s career with the same team, valuing loyalty above all. That’s okay. But as you move forward in your league experience, I urge you to get out and meet more of these amazing users. If there was more cross-pollination in the league, I’d wager the league as a whole would be a nicer, friendlier place. I’m not saying it’s an easy decision to make, but I do think that if you are feeling like I was feeling, you should take a chance on the rest of the teams in the league.I'm 100% with you on this. I understand being loyal on one player and staying with "your" team, but on a re-create, I personally would love to branch out and try out new dynamics with a different team. On the other hand, I understand people building deep relationships within a certain LR and wanting to keep that positive aspect in their life. So I guess in the end, it all comes down to what would make you happy and keep you interested in the league. Free agency worked for you, and that's awesome! Good luck in PHI!
