9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commissioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted?
If I was the Commish for a day there are several things I would do, putting my previous HO and Dev Head experience to good use. Naturally I would initially focus on getting some IT infrastructure projects off the ground. There has recently been phenomenal work with the new banking system, and I believe that the league should further build on this, creating a full league & player management platform as a mybb plugin. This would mean one central place where folks can create & manage all aspects of their player. Whether that be completing activity checks or point tasks it all could be done in a centralised fashion. But most importantly this would allow users to update their players without much need for manual checks. Their TPE available would match exactly any point tasks trainings checks etc that they have completed, and then similar to the player builder tool the users could allocate TPE to their attributes. No more manually calculating how much TPE you need to improve something from 49 to 69, or other awkward boundaries like that. GMs could check in on their teams status in terms of updates etc, and keep an eye on what everyone is doing. Overall this would massively reduce some of the manual overhead involved with player management, both for the users as well as the various league departments involved in updating and auditing.
Apart from this I would commission a committee looking at how we can better handle player attrition and help those teams that a perpetually bad/lacking players. One potential controversial option could be league contraction. Ever since the massive class sizes of S22 and others during COVID, we had too many teams and not enough active users. Maybe a proper above the line marketing campaign could also be useful to super charge our recruiting and once again have massive class sizes to match the number of teams.
8. With awards season upon us, make up an award for your player to win for something not on the football field.
If there was one thing that Cruella could win for sure it's the best dressed off the field award. I mean did you see here fire dress the other day, yes it literally was on fire before turning into a beautiful swooping red gown that had everyone hold their breath, even Fortified Fridge who is usually known for his icy air. Also Cruella's trademark black and white split hair is easily the best hairstyle in the league and opens up so many options for creative usage. Cruella has her own label which has seen massive success due to her prowess as a fashion designer and impeccable taste in the finest of clothes. Just the other day she looked immaculate in a light gown with dark Dots all over it that could be as much a homage to Damien Hirsts dots as well as to Cruella's beuatiful Dalmation dogs that are always by her side accentuating everything she wears just that one extra notch. And don't just think she can only wear red, black and white. no, other colours like a deep green or voluminous blue also suit her stunningly well, as Cruella isn't afraid to try new and daring things with her wardrobe week in week out.
And we haven't even talked about her excellent extravagant footwear. Everything from sneakers to high heels just goes so well with the overall composition she is trying to achieve. Her latest line of trainers has the potential to be as iconic if not more than Air Jordans.
Cruella is also big on using recycled materials and turning them into something truly incredible, such as her widely awarded dress made from newspapers. Cruella is certainly the best dressed in the league both on and off the field, and welcomes any challengers to this title to compete for it this upcoming season. But they will have a hard time displacing the fashion queen of the ISFL, that holds the attention of any room she enters, never mind wether she wears an elaborate gown or a pair of ripped upcycled jeans.
