Defensive End JR Frankenstero and Linebacker Carissa van Campen were two of the core rookies that came in for the defense, and although Frankenstero didn't put up much in the Stats line, besides penalties, van Campen was able to be a force as a linebacker. Carissa was able to pick up 12 sacks, 86 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 9 pass deflections and 1 forced fumble! A complete wrecking ball for the defense. While Frankenstero was only able to pick up 17 tackles with 4 of them being for a loss. Hopefully this season van Campen can continue to be that force a few steps behind the line, and JR Frankenstero can get a big burst to help cause some more havok from the defensive line. Defensive End might not be able to put up the gaudy numbers like some Linebackers can, but hopefully the penalties take a step back, and those tackles for loss go on up. And wouldn't it be something if Frankenstero can break through that offensive line and run down the Quarterback at least 5 different times this season. We shall find out over the next few weeks!
Quote:14. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season? For the New Orleans Second Line the 2051 season was a great success and help solidify the future of the franchise and that the team is on the right path. With the amount of turnover with some members retiring and then bring in some brand new rookies, the hope was to be close to making the playoffs. But amazingly the Second Line were able to make the playoffs, and to get there as the #2 seed in the ASFC. The hope was that this new talent coming in, especially on the defensive line, be able to show that the future was bright as these players got better and grew together. And now because of that #2 seed the future is much brighter than the team was expecting this early in their development.

Quote:17. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it. (Written Task)One of the biggest improvements to the new stadium that I would like to see for the New Orleans Second Lines, would be a giant Mardi Gras pool that fans can enjoy the game from. With the amount of Beads that will be thrown around the giant olympic sized pool, it will be tons of fun. The main problem is just to try and curtail the amount of 'reasons' that people throw beads to people in New Orleans, especially because of the amount of swimsuits that will now be around the pool area. Fans please remember that we try to have a family friendly environment for the enjoyment of everyone. The other thing that will be amazing is the three different water slides that feed into the pool. Right now we are currently working with the State to see how long and how tall we can get approval for these different slides. But rest assured that you haven't seen anything yet New Orleans!
