Prompt Wrote:It's that time of year, whether the sim agrees or not! A night of frights and treats galore! There's so many different ways to celebrate the spookiest time of here, so this week, we're gonna find out how your player likes to roll on Halloween night! For this PT, talk about your player's Halloween adventures. Did they dress up and go to a party? Visit a haunted house? Hand out candy? Clog the team toilets? Go wild!
For Halloween (and other holidays), I try to do what I can to help out the Austin community. This year I helped out with SCARE for a CURE which is raising money to help against breast cancer and for other local charity endeavors. We basically helped with an interactive haunted house kind of thing with tickets which were the main way of funding. It was a lot of fun to both be creepy and interact with fans while helping out for charity. I personally dressed up as a demonic football player to match the blood demon theme and people who were there had a lot of fun seeing me as well as enjoying the overall event. I'd like to say that I won't be helping them out next year due to fixing all the problems they're trying to address, but I'm sadly doubting that 1 year will be enough for that. Still, I think these kinds of events are a good way for ISFL players to help out with their communities in a way that still help to contribute with larger issues as well and so I'd recommend all other players look into doing something similar in their areas. There are sadly no lack of problems where charity can help out and we have a lot of visibility to assist those causes with.
