The index is a vital tool for all members of the ISFL who want to keep up with how their player and team is doing when those little state boxes on the side of 240p streams just won't cut it. The ability to comb back throughout all thirty eight seasons of league history and look at stats is incredible, and it's allowed people to build super cool tools like Wolfiebot to take our understanding of the league to even greater heights. But beyond the numbers, my favorite feature of the index is the player head models that are displayed when you select an individual player to view. The game, for some inexplicable reason, chooses to regularly swap out faces for a given player - not a big deal since we don't use specifically generated player faces like PBE, but hilarious nonetheless. Whenever I go to look at how Dante King is performing, it's a fun little treat to see what he'll look like this time - what race will he be this week? Will he be bald, or suddenly have a full head of hair? Will he sport a goatee reminiscent of Evil Spock?
