New York is not exactly known for its affordable real estate prices, and it was an uncomfortable few years for Mandrews living cheaply off his rookie deal in the city. Luckily his hard work paid off, and in only his 3rd year in the league, he earned $4M a year and could afford to move further away into a more comfortable position. He moved out of his tiny apartment only a mile away from the stadium and practice facility and headed up to Buffalo, New York where the colder weather and fewer people both appealed to the young star wide receiver. Now he lives in a modest but nice medium sized home with a nice front and backyard with neighbors on either side.
