The area around Yellowknife has vast open spaces with plenty of room for Akinfenwa to create his dream house. When you first approach the property, it seems very modest, a cosy little house not out of keeping the local area that wouldnt look out of place for any regular Joe in the local area to live in. However when you enter the house you see a well stocked and equipped kitchen takes up most of the cottage floor. Upstairs is one giant bedroom with one way glass walls so Akinfenwa can view all of his property, which includes a full size football pitch behind the house, hidden by the woods around the house. Downstairs there is a secret door to the basement which has a giant gym for Akinfenwa and any of his team mates to work out, along with entertainment rooms with table football tables and cinema screens for hanging out once the hard work is done.
