Over the long season, our players train hard to be better players and to be better teammates overall. I swapped from defensive tackle to linebacker to help my team on defense and I had to learn a lot in a short time. I had to improve my speed, agility, and knowledge of rushing the passer. In addition, I had to learn how to do coverage to help our secondary. All in all, I think I completed every task I needed to do on all fronts. I became the second leading tackler this season, i was one of only a few front seven players who got a TD, and I had double digit tfls and sacks, while also playing a bit of coverage and racking up a bit of deflections myself. I hope that I can continue being this effective as a linebacker now that I enter into the prime of my productive career!
