This offseason I will be once again be tackling the fourth option of the Tier 1: Long Form Tasks. I will be choosing a Mount Rushmore for the Philadelphia Liberty.
As you might know, I recently wrote a piece on the Greatest Draft Picks in ISFL History. You can find that here. This gives me a leg-up this time around as I have already done the research for Philly's greatest legends. As they were the requirements for my previous article, all of the players on this list were drafted by the Liberty and made the ISFL Hall of Fame. All accolades mentioned happened while the player in question played for the Liberty.
All information was sourced from the ISFL wiki and Wolfiebot.
First up is Tight End Paul DiMirio.
DiMirio was drafted by the Liberty with the 23rd pick of the 2017 ISFL Draft. DiMirio would go on to spend seven of his twelve total seasons with the Liberty. In each of these seven seasons, DiMirio would make the Pro Bowl in addition to winning six straight Tight End of the Year awards, cementing his status as not only Philadelphia's greatest tight end, but the greatest tight end in league history. He would also make two Ultimus Bowl appearances with Philadelphia, winning one in Season 7. DiMirio also led the league in receptions thrice along with receiving yards in one of those seasons with the Liberty. DiMirio was inducted into the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2032.
Next up we have Running Back Marquise Brown.
Brown entered into the league after being drafted by Philadelphia with the third overall pick in the 2024 ISFL Draft. Brown only spent five years with the Liberty, with the fifth being detached from the rest, but he still made quite the impact in his rather short time there. Brown started off by winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and making the Pro Bowl in his rookie season. Brown would follow this up by making three more Pro Bowls in a row, along with taking home both the Season 13 League MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards along with two Running Back of the Year awards. Brown was inducted into the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2037.
Third on the list is Safety Lennox Garnett.
The Liberty chose Garnett with the first overall pick in the 2026 ISFL Draft. Lennox would go on to enjoy an eleven season career with the Liberty, breaking many franchise records in both pass defense and returning the ball. Lennox would win a Returner of the Year Award in Season 16 along with making eight Pro Bowls, including seven in a row. Garnett still holds the record for longest kick return at 108 yards in addition to the most career kick return touchdowns at five. He would also make it to two Ultimus Bowls with Philadelphia, but unfortunately they did not with either game. Garnett was inducted into the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2040.
Last but not least is Kicker / Punter / Wide Receiver Jake Fencik.
A true draft steal, Fencik was taken off the board by Philadelphia with the 59th pick in the 2040 ISFL Draft. Fencik spent his entire nine season career with the Liberty, making the Pro Bowl six times as both a kicker / punter and at wide receiver. He would also win a Kicker of the Year award, a Punter of the Year award, and a Wide Receiver of the Year award along with two back to back All-Pro seasons. Fencik also had three seasons where he was perfect in kicking extra points. Fencik was inducted into the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2054.
