My kicker made some noise playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference while attending Wake Forrest University. The Demon Deacons really shaped my kicker into who he is today. His play at Wake Forrest was strong, and strong enough to get him noticed by DSFL teams. There was some interest in him and he eventually was drafted to Bondi Beach. My kicker was now a Buccaneer. It was fitting because my player grew up a state above where the Bondi Beach Buccaneers originated from, Myrtle Beach. This familiarity was a good fit since my player was quite familiar with the franchise. Things went well for my player in Bondi Beach. The team really showed him the ropes for professional football and made him the player he is to this day. Speaking of familiar franchises, when draft time came around, my player was picked up by the Second Line, his favorite team growing up. This set the stage for a strong and magical relationship. My player has spent all his time in the pro’s with the Second Line and has no plans in sight to leave the team. There has been adversity for the team, but I feel like we’re on the cusp of doing something great. It will be great if my team can win a championship with the Second Line. Historically, my player has had some good seasons with his punting game. Some of his seasons coming up in the ISFL, he has looked like one of the best punters and most reliable kickers in the league. In his third season of the ISFL, my player was taken under the wing of a veteran kicker which really honed in his skills kicking from distance. This has made him a threat from 50 yards out. This training is a highlight in my player’s history because it gives the Second Line hope and options from far down the field.
I am not well-versed on our sim engine. I have not read about it, but see it from time to time when catching the streams. I can not comment on how well it represents football or strategy or how versatile it is. I know engines will need some form of randomness added to it. However, as a person who enjoys catching a stream every now and then, I do not enjoy the sim display. I have been spoiled by the sims over in PBE. The commentary and the actual sim display is top notch. I know that this is more so because of how great OOTP game is and how it allows the presentation to be better than what we use over here in the ISFL. I would watch more ISFL streams if the presentation was better. This is no small ask, and not something we can just make happen. It is surprising to me that football does not have a better or more engaging sim engine for football nerds to mess around with. However, I think baseball, with it’s vast amount of stats, is more likely to have a really cool sim engine.

11. Write a short biography or story about your player. This could include background about how they came to the ISFL and how they’ve done so far, a story about their role in an exciting game, or anything else related to their experience in the league.
