Task 8- So far, I have had a great time in the league and I am pretty happy that I have joined. I think I will put more time and effort into the league now that I have been drafted, as I do not want to be seen as a bust, rather I would like to be seen as a steal in the draft! Anyway, I'm really happy with how my player has been. I have been a wide receiver and I am super happy that I have selected that position. My other choices were tight end or a lineman, so maybe if I recreate I can play one of those positions. Being drafted was an absolute throwback, I haven't been drafted by a team I had no idea was going to choose me since like February of last year, I forgot how much fun the experience was, so its even better that I got drafted like that twice! The London Royals have been a great locker room, it seems like every ISFL locker room is hyper active like that so I am just happy I got into a good and fun locker room like the Royals. I got drafted by the Austin Copperheads and I'm just as lucky to have been drafted by such a great team. Austin are a great team with a great locker room so I hope I can play really well for them and become a franchise center piece. I think what is especially cool about the streams is how you always get to see your team streamed and you don't have to sit through a bunch of quick streams, like you do in PBE. The lack of play-by-play guy is interesting too, but I don't mind it. I am super super happy I joined the league and I have been super satisfied with my experience so far, heres hoping it gets even better!
Task 9- LeAnthony LeDavis was a three spot athlete in high school, but he always knew he wanted to play in the ISFL, even if though he got offers from colleges to play D1 basketball there (The New York Yankees even draft him in the 39th round of the MLB draft in his senior year of high school!), but he chose to stick with football, as that seemed to be the thing he was best at athletically. Fielding offers from Kentucky, Wisconsin, and USC, LeAnthony chose to attend the University of Kentucky in part because of its proximity to his hometown of Louisville Kentucky. He also wanted to go to the University of Kentucky to follow in the footsteps of his biggest sports idol growing up, Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans, who also lead the University of Kentucky to the NCAA championship in 2012. LeAnthony played 4 years at the University of Kentucky and was one of the best collegiate football players in the country. I can't remember what individual awards he won, he probably won a lot, but his crowning achievement was leading the Kentucky Wildcats to a national title in his senior year of College. Once he lead the Wildcats to the National Championship, his beliefs that he was bound for the ISFL were confirmed. LeAnthony was chosen in the DSFL entry draft to take his talents to London, and although that is a bit far away from home he has had a great time there. In his first season in the DSFL, LeAnthony recieved for 377 yards and had 4 touchdowns, maybe not the best numbers but he was not the WR1, and he is still developing. Drafted in a late round by the Vipers, LeAnthony will probably use that as a chip on his shoulder to prove all the doubters wrong about his prospects in the ISFL. LeAnthony has an exciting career, and I cannot wait to see how he does!
