It has been a really peculiar start to the season for Benjamin Duvernay and the Portland Pythons. Duvernay finds himself in a weird position as he feels he does his job well on defense, but the opposing teams exploit other weaknesses in the defense. This frustration was especially evident in the last game against the Tijuana Luchadores as he only allowed two catches for 22 yards, yet the Luchadores scored 30 points due to multiple turnovers at their own endzone.
Despite this, I think the Portland Pythons will still rally to make the playoffs as they did last season when they also started the season 103. It is only a matter of time before this team gets red hot and goes on a run. And yes, the Hahalua have absolutely sold their soul to the sim gods and actively practice black magic with living sacrifices in their war room to punch their ticket to the Ultimus.
