It has certainly been an interesting season so far for Fat Jack and the San Jose Sabercats. The team as a whole has been okay sporting now a .500 record and looking to be in position for a potential playoff run and then hopefully an Ultimus run as well. San Jose's offense has been lacking a little bit this season at least through the first 7 games but the defense ranks amongst one of the best in the league especially against the run. The team gives up just 61.4 rushing yards per game which is or at least was the best in the entire ISFL. Their big defensive tackle, Fat Jack, has certainly been a part of that. However, he is certainly not holding up on his end statistically as the big DT out of Northern Arizona University lacks the stats and has been more of a silent help it appears. Jack, in what should be a real nice season for him, has only totaled 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss on the season through the first 7 games which is super low especially for a player his caliber. However, I would like to think that Jack's ability to eat up blocks has been epic which has helped the linebackers and other members of the defensive line so Fat Jack for MVP!
