Here's a stat that takes a little more than a quick glance at to reveal the whole picture. Through only 10 games so far, cornerback Dax Dangerfield has recorded his second highest number of interceptions in a season. Sounds pretty good, right? It would be, except when you dig a little deeper you find that the number that sounds so good is actually just four. Yep, four interceptions are Dax's second best season ever in that category. Talk about a player that is mediocre to the core. Apart from one standout season (in which he was snubbed for individual awards) Dax has been, in short, a disappointment. Perhaps the awards voters knew deep down that Dangerfield was trash, and that his "breakout" season was really nothing more than a one hit wonder. Despite the hard work of Dangerfield, it turns out he's just not that good. And this season, his "second best", is a B- effort at best. So here's to Trash Dangerfield!
