Hot Take: Turnbull will be a perpetually mediocre receiver. In what should be his best season at getting down the field and his speed and all speed related abilities are maxed out at this point. But through 10 games, he's on pace for 92 receptions (career high), but only 976 yards (2nd lowest). His drops are on pace for a career low, and he's on pace for a career high in catches per game. He's on pace to equal his 20+ yard catches in a season, but he also has a significantly lower 1st down percentage than any other season in his career. While he can make big plays, Turnbull is lacking the ability to consistently make the mid range 5-15 yard plays. Whether it be getting open down the field, or making plays after the catch, Turnbull just seems incapable of doing it. Despite doing everything I can, I think it's clear at this point that Turnbull is just slow.
