After Kyle Bessey finishes his football career, he has two plans (besides the obvious of having a family and spending more time with him):
For one, he wants to start a sports consulting business. Using his business education from USC, Bessey wants to advise collegiate and new professional players on how to navigate the options available to them. Between choosing agents, handling advertisements (or NIL for college), and investing smartly, athletes have a lot to learn. Many of them squander their money after leaving the game (between excessive spending, bad investments, and getting taken advantage of by others), and Bessey wants to prevent that.
Next, he wants to become closer to his alma mater’s football program. Whether this is becoming an RB coach or helping with NIL collectives, he wants to assist the next generation of Trojans. He knows the difficulties of transitioning to the collegiate ranks, as he was a backup his first year after expecting himself to come in and be a star already. He wants the tradition of great Trojan RBs to continue, and is excited to help in the future.
