Hank Mardukas was bright eyed with excitement waiting for his first game in the DSFL. Having come out of college as one of the top end tight ends going into the draft. He had such a strong career he was hopeful to keep it going in the DSFL. Unfortunately for him the league had other plans for him. Now being amongst his athletic equals Hank no longer stood above everyone on the field and instead could only do his best to keep up. From the start of Game 1 in the preseason Hank knew he was going to have to do everything in his power to keep up with the other rookies. Hank struggled to catch and then hold on to the ball, completing an average 2 catches out of 7 targets. Though if he was able to hang on to it Hank was good for at least 12 yards per carry. Through hard work Hank kept up his training and finished as the top rookie Tight End in the S42 class leading to him getting selected third overall in the ISFL Draft.
