During Jamdrian's early high school years and during his entire childhood up to that point, he'd been playing as a wide receiver. He always had the height and the speed to make his coaches push him towards that position. And he enjoyed it a lot, although he was always one of the worst when it came to actually catching the ball. So when he entered his second year of high school, he took the decision to change things up. He told his coach he wanted to try out the cornerback position instead. Which they didn't have any problem with. Seeing as most kids like scoring more than defending. They all agreed it was a good idea to give Jadmrian a season at CB to see how things look and feel. And, well, since then Jamdrian has been a star defender. It turned out that, although he wasn't a great catcher he's pretty good at reading the opponent receiver and batting balls out of the air. That's a decision that greatly helped him go pro.
