Vash Erikson performs his pregame ritual at his home or hotel (specifically requested smoking room) before games.
The ritual requires specific items and space to set up this ritual: Calling To Odin.
Vash prepares a broth consisting of onions, leeks, and freshly butchered, extremely bloody, rare beef. He places the hot broth in a bowl on ground, over a larger bowl with hot stones.
He lights Dragon's Blood incense to burn on smoky quartz incense holders, next to the bowl.
Vash opens a bottle of homemade mead and places it next to the bowl of broth.
He continues to light multiple blue candles in a large circle around the bowl, bottle, and incense. Once the candles are lit, Vash turns off the lights in the room.
With all the offerings put in place, Vash enters the circle of candles reaches up to a mounted perch. (When outside of his home, he travels with a set up that slightly resembles a swing set without the swing)
Vash hangs himself upside down from the perch, holding a raven idol in each hand. Huginn and Muninn, Orin's ravens, representing thought and memory.
While hanging himself, Vash believes to channel Odin, The Allfather, within him, granting him strength and cunning, to meet what challenges he faces on the battlefields of the NSFL.
