8. After a full season under my belt, I definitely feel like I have a better idea of what to expect in the league. The discord payout is easily one of my favorite aspects to it. It really drives community engagement and pushes people to build relationships. On that note, obviously my GMs have been one of the most influential people. TylerTokesome has really been there to catch me when I slip up on things, and Scrizz has helped me look at longer term planning about what I want to do with the league and how I engage with it. Besides them, the Royals locker room is fun. Most everyone both on the team and former players keep things light while also keeping the discussion productive. If I had to pick one person to mention it would be Okestboomer who is both hilarious and a graphics genius. I adore his Ronald McDonald theme going on with his player. Outside of our locker room, two players definitely stick out to me: Bamford and DL. Bamford is a completely new rookie like myself, and we've built ourselves up as rivals. Implying we stay on opposite sides of the ball, it'll be a good motivational factor for me and a good way to chat more. DL on the other hand I just enjoy how chaotic he is. Definitely seems to rub people the wrong way but I enjoy the fact that he at least constantly engages with the chat. Coming up to my ISFL draft, I'm really looking forward to getting into a whole new locker room and finally getting to better understand what's happening in that league. Regarding my player tho, I was kind of disappointed to be put into a CB position, but also understood it kept me in the field and was probably better than a bot. I keep in mind not to take the sim personal, and instead focus on the record I broke! I'm my first season I guess I pumped competitiveness more than people do just trying to get turnovers and I ended up with the most Forced Fumbles in a season! That was a nice surprise to see, especially given how disheartened I was at not getting any picks. But there's always next year!
19. If we're breaking ground for a stadium, I would want good public transit heading into the stadium. Before renovations, the MARTA in Atlanta got you right to the Mercedes-Benz stadium from the airport. No need to do anything besides arrive in town and go to the game. That efficient could bring in tons of people, and would exponentially increase the likelihood of local people getting involved. Now instead of having to find a parking place in the middle of the city and getting stuck in hours of traffic going home, you can get into the train and ride back to your local station where the traffic will be much less and you'll drive less. Saving you and your car time and miles! Plus it would allow people the opportunity to explore the city if they got into town early because they won't have to worry about their vehicle and parking. Getting a rich ISFL team to invest into the cities transit system would allow this deal to become even more lucrative for all parties involved.
27. If I weren't able to be a Safety I probably would have picked a more glamour position like Linebacker or Defensive End. I'm a big Ravens fan and we've generally had good players on defense so I would've stayed in this side of the ball. After seeing the breakdown of players tho I might have instead gone for Defensive Tackle. Looking at the archetypes tho it would highly depend on team need so I'd probably just go all-purpose up until I get drafted to my isfl team and we can better figure out what I should do. I love the idea of the Nose Tackle just rolling over Guards like a bowling ball. If I had to go offense tho, it would probably be at RB. I would enjoy being the focal point to an offense and would probably try my best to emulate my favorite one in Ladanian Tomlinson. Elusive and with ridiculous vision. QB I feel like would just be miserable the first few years, and receiver is too dependent on other positions for me. I want to be able to carry the team on my back.
