16. Well this was a dose of reality season for the Turtles - Raphael especially really feeling the strong pull from lady time. For the first time since joining Arizona he's out of the spotlight, not viewed as one of the top Defensive Tackles in the league anymore. The team also struggled, where it was unsure if they could even make the playoffs this season until right at the end, the last game of the season to clinch. And then losing out right away, the Outlaws did not make it to the finals, what a sad day for the league!
As far as production, more continued sliding in the stats, probably less of an emphasis on Raph in that position over others and the time is coming near. This will be Raphael's last season as an Outlaw. Still to be determined if that strictly means retirement, or if it is the beginning to another stage of his football journey. Maybe another team, or even an old familiar team has the space and would be willing to pay for a very old former star. It seems to work well for reunion tours of bands where the members are in their 60s, so why not here?
Looking purely at stats, the important thing to remember here is going to be that even in his waning days in Arizona, his numbers are trouncing what was put up before. It would not be going out on top, but the idea to move and put up maybe 1 sack makes any kind of career goals tough. Obviously it would be amazing to be able to contribute a career total of 100 + sacks, but there looks to simply just not be enough time for that to happen. This season he is going to be very happy if he can clip the 5 sack marker, and stay healthy, win the Ultimus one more time to go out on top.
23. My thoughts on the engine are that it is honestly pretty good. The little dots moving around although are quite simplistic, and at times do some very strange looking things, I like to compare to the other "big 3", and SHL for example has been doing a lot of upgrades and "better" graphics - and their player icons still act very oddly, and sometimes it's more pronounced because they have tried to carve out a full sim for it. PBE is still probably the best, but I don't watch it except for the occasional playoff series that I make it into. As far as excitement goes, it seems like game-breaking plays - massive throw field clearing plays, or runs that go for 90 yards don't exist - the defence seems to be faster and able to catch up, but this also seems not as prevalent as it used to be either. Finally I'd turn injuries on. Maybe tweak them so they don't exist forever, but it would be another stat people could pump tpe into (prevent injury), and it mixes things up. Think of playing a fierce rival and their star RB is out for 2 games with a sore pinky toe. The backups would get reps!
