Tier 2: Short Form Tasks (Each must be 300+ words)
8.- The experience has been amazing, as a fan of D&D type of games the league instantly became appealing, and on top of that everyone has been welcoming and supportive; but talking about individuals I would say that swoosh and tylertokesome were the ones that help me the most to become familiar with the league in general. And talking with swoosh one day before the draft and the Tij. Luchadores drafting my first player was a clutch tho. The forum didn’t look that intuitive for me at first but when I got the hang of the thread n´ post it was genuinely entertaining. And talking about the draft omg it was amazing, I watched the stream while doing homework and it was really funny, it reflects the work that people put behind the isfl and It amazes me, I thought I’d get drafted as a waiver but seeing the name on the screen was amazing, and it’s the first time that some one didn’t butchered my username lol (Dagon). Maybe what I would implement on the first player topic would be something like a guide stat wise? More than what archetype choose guide it would be more like how the stats affect the simulation for that position in a really specific way, like the builds the team´s servers recommend or something. Or do something excel-related cause i think it’s the easy way to manage the player stats (or maybe i'm just too familiar with it cause everything I manage number wise is on excel lmao) but there is nothing that affects my experience in a bad way, I just feel excited to find a community this awesome with two of the things that I love the most: football and nerding around. Cant wait to see how the season unfold and how my player does, i'm eager to learn more. (308 words)
11.- Sebastian’s love for football started as a way to escape the old stories that his old man told him. Since he was a kid all the strange and unsettling stories that surrounded his well-known last name made him feel like an outcast, but the sport quickly became a tool for him to ground himself in the real and tangible world. He worked and trained tirelessly on his physical abilities, becoming faster, stronger and more agile than anyone has seen, although he had an uncanny resemblance to one of Lovecraft’s imaginary beings in appearance and abilities it wasn’t easy for him.
Playing as a safety in high school the one thing that drew Sebastian to the game was the competition; he loved the adrenaline that came with each game, the way his heart pounded as he charged on other players and being able to truly blossom despite his family history. His skills on the field gained him the reputation as one of the best players on the league, he knew that football had become more than just a hobby, he found his passion and he knew he was meant to pursue it.
During college, he continued to impress his supporters with his otherworldly abilities on the field. Supernatural features were something that they had never seen before, but the way he played and the vibes that he implemented on the games were what they admired the most.
Years later, after graduating college and being drafted into the DSFL, Sebastian looked back on his journey with fondness. He knew that his success on the field was a combination of hard work, dedication, and a little bit of Lovecraftian magic. But most of all, he knew that football had given him something that he could never find in the mysterious tales of his father's past – a sense of purpose and belonging.
