I think this is an interesting question for someone on the Second Line. I don't think we expected, or were expecting to compete this season, so the fact that we are 3 wins right now and potentially end the season with more is just showing that process is working, at least somewhat. Obviously, the goal here for the final three weeks is to win just enough, and lose just enough so that we end up with a top 3 pick, but I think there are some bright spots.
Offensively, the team is coming along very well. Speedings is a ROTY candidate, Crane looks like a monster and they have a pair of very high, high earning WRs in Mardukas and Passarelli. The same goes for the defense, they have a high earning DL, but going into this offseason, it's pretty clear the focus will be on the Secondary and the LB core.
Again, i don't think much could've been done differently this season. Could we have swapped some strats around earlier on and such, totally. But at the end of the day, I son't think that would've moved the needle as much as it may have for others.
Speaking to my other team, Norfolk, where I GM with Jolly. I don't think there was much we could've done better either. IF anything, the fact that we have the 3rd best record in the league, with as low total TPE as we have and the least amount of humans means that we should be well positioned for a good run next season. I think we could've made some offensive strategy adjustments earlier on as well, but that's neither here nor there.
