DSFL Minnesota has been on the come up. Some of us have really been trying to get up to a good progression level that means everything for us. We want to become the best team possible. It’s been a tough road, but some of our players are becoming stars. As a captain I’ve been really trying to be the best I possibly can be for some of these players. It’s been a great experience going from DSFL rookie to DSFL veteran this offseason. The keys to success for me is just being a better overall Cornerback for Minnesota. I believe some of our players who have developed over the past year or so has been quite the dramatic events. We missed playoffs obviously a tough season, but also a very much needed one for us. In my opinion a learning experience for a lot of us kids. A lot of growing up happened throughout this season. It’s been a rigorous process but it made us capable of making a push in playoffs. I know from my perspective I gained a ton of speed and it’s really helped me become a better and more capable player to defend some of the passes that I haven’t been able to in the past. I can be more capable in a shutdown roll. We’ve got a great group of defensive core players from the DSFL draft last season who have been much of the same a couple corners and a couple of a linebackers. Got some DL. I also know we have a lot of players coming in here in the next DSFL draft that we have to help develop too. It’s just a process trying to get up to the ISFL. We are developing for the future along with trying to win Championships. We’ve got a capable front office and a capable coach and a capable team to be competitive as hell next year. We are definitely gunning to be one of if not the best defense in the league. We’re also gonna try and be the great offense that we know we have been and can be over the next couple seasons. Learning from past events from guys. Thomas Sutha we all know is an All-Pro Wide Out. He has made me a better player. He’s one of the top dawgs. Will be a top dawg in the ISFL, but he has definitely taught me from a defensive perspective what I need to do to beat some of these wide receivers I gotta contend against. No cheating or cutting corners just hard work and dedication going forward. Learned from my father as well that it’s hard work to perfect your craft. It’s never easy and without a doubt I will be a top corner in this league next season. We will become a top team. I can tell you we have the advanced capabilities to cover any team no matter what. We will be a victorious group. But we need to take it one game at a time. One win and the scoreboard resets to zero. The record resets to zero. We just want to be 1-0 after every week. And I’m excited what the future holds here in Minnesota. As far as getting Drafted to San Jose. It’s a surreal moment. I’m just gonna keep developing so I can make it to the main roster. Play as good as I possibly can for the DSFL and show my worth to the San Jose team. It’s going to be a great year, but also a transition time for San Jose to try and go from old to new but also keep the winning mentality.
