Task 7 - 600+ Words - 10 TPE
Good time appropriate greeting dear Player Progression Team! I hope that you are doing well with the enormous task of grading all the Offseason Tasks. In case you did not see my last we are resuming where we left off which was comparing Cross, Eriksen, and Cross-Eriksen where last time we were up through season seven of their careers. At that point Cross-Eriksen was third in tackles, second in tackles for loss, first in forced fumbles, first in fumble recoveries, third in sacks, first in interceptions, first in passes defended, and first in defensive touchdowns. Now we move on to season eight!
S29 for Cross saw him put up 61 tackles middle of the trio, 2 forced fumbles to lead the trio, 1 sack to tie Cross-Eriksen in last place, 2 interceptions to tie Eriksen for last place, 10 passes defended good for second place, and his second defensive touchdown tying Eriksen for first place. Eriksen's 51 tackles bring up the rear of the trio, made up for by his 7 sacks leading by half a dozen good for the second best season all time by the trio at a glance, 2 interceptions is good to tie with Cross for last place, seven passes defended is firmly in last place, 1 safety that is the only safety the safety trio has collected to date, and 1 defensive touchdown to tie with Cross for the lead there. Cross-Eriksen in S41 led the group with her 72 tackles, came in second with 1 forced fumble, tied for last with 1 sack, came in first with 3 interceptions, first again with 11 passes defended, but failed to collect a defensive touchdown allowing the combination of Cross and Eriksen to tie her career total. Through eight seasons Cross-Eriksen is firmly in last place in terms of tackles with 519 to Cross' 627, is second for tackles for loss with 3 to Eriksen's 4, Cross tied her in forced fumbles with 10 each, Cross-Eriksen keeps the forced fumble lead with 6, Eriksen's 28 sacks and Cross' 26 thrash Cross-Eriksen's meager 15, her 24 interceptions to Cross' 20 and Eriksen's 12 make up for it though, she also still leads in passes defended with 90 total, and her 6 defensive touchdowns ties Cross' 2 and Eriksen's 4 combined.
Season nine and we are coming up on the end of this system so let us change it up a little bit. S30 for Cross and Eriksen lines up with S42 for Cross-Eriksen just for reference sake. Now tackles saw Cross-Eriksen's 62 beating out Cross' 55 and Eriksen's 43, Cross' 1 tackle for loss beat out the others zeroes, Cross and Eriksen's 1 forced fumble both beat out Cross-Eriksen's zero, Eriksen's lone fumble recovery beat out the others with zero each, Eriksen's 5 sacks came in over Cross-Eriksen's 2 and Cross' 1, Eriksen's 5 interceptions beat out Cross and Cross-Eriksen who tied with 3 each, Cross' 12 pass defended beat out Cross-Eriksen's 10 and Eriksen's 9 to make for a pretty balanced season for the trio. Totals saw Cross keep the tackle crown with 682 total, Cross took the forced fumble crown back with 11 over Cross-Eriksen's 10, Eriksen's fumble recovery ties him with Cross for second place, 5 sacks extends Eriksen's lead to 33 over Cross' 27, Cross-Eriksen just keeps her interception crown with 27, she becomes the only member of her family to hit triple digits in passes defended with 100 on the dot, and the lot of them failed to collect a defensive touchdown allowing her to hold onto her lead there with 6 over Eriksen's 4 and Cross' 2.
Now S31 and S43 saw the final season for Eriksen, the final defensive season for Cross, and just another season for Cross-Eriksen who will be entering her twelfth here shortly. This season saw Cross-Eriksen lead in tackles with 66 to Cross' 51 and Eriksen's 48, Cross' 1 tackle for loss beat the others who had a goose egg in that stat, Eriksen and Cross-Eriksen had a fforced fumble to beat out Cross, Cross-Eriksen led in sacks with 5 Cross in second with 3 and Eriksen in third with 1, Cross-Eriksen just barely won the interception race with 4 to 3 for the other two of the trio, all three of them tied with 13 passes defended interestingly enough, and they all secured defensive touchdowns with Cross' 2 beating out Eriksen and Cross-Eriksen's 1 each. Now through ten seasons which is all that they all played Cross-Eriksen has a three game lead. That said Cross' 733 tackles beats Eriksen's 661 and Cross-Eriksen's 645, Eriksen's 4 tackles for loss beats out 3 for both of the others, Cross and Cross-Eriksen tie with 11 forced fumbles over 7 for Eriksen, Cross-Eriksen's 6 fumble recoveries wins out over 4 each for the other two, Eriksen's 34 sacks beat Cross' 30 and Cross-Eriksen's 22 brings up the rear, Cross-Eriksen's 31 interceptions beats Cross' 26 and Eriksen's 20, Cross-Eriksen's 113 passes defended also wins with Erisken in second at 96 and Cross at third with 81, Eriksen's sole safety wins the day there, and finally Cross-Eriksen wins the day in defensive touchdowns with 7 to beat out Eriksen's 5 and Cross' 4 to make her arguably the best coverage safety of her family.
Now heading into this latest season Cross-Eriksen led by 3 in games, was 88 behind in tackles, 1 behind in tackles for loss, tied in forced fumbles, 2 ahead in fumble recoveries, 12 behind in sacks, 5 ahead in interceptions, 17 ahead in passes defended, 1 behind in safeties, and 2 ahead in defensive touchdowns. After a solid season stat line Cross-Eriksen is now ahead by 19 games, behind by just 34 tackles, tied in tackles for loss, still tied in forced fumbles, extended her fumble recovery lead by 1 to 3, shrunk her sack gap by 1 to 11, increased her interception lead by 3 to 8, her passes defended lead jumped by 10 to 27, still behind by a safety, but she added a defensive touchdown to bring her lead to 3 and put her one away of tying Cross and Eriksen's combined total once again. That said if this season goes at all decently for my girl I do believe she will finish only behind her predecessors in sacks and safeties which for a safety is not bad at all in my book. Thank you for your time and maybe see you next season!
