This offseason was pretty fun for Howard Coward. He got a brand new jet ski that he had been zipping around on in the lake behind his house. He went on a 5 day cruise to the Mediterranean. He could be seen driving all over the woods in his brand new Ford Raptor. And after getting all muddy, he liked to wind down by doing laundry at home in his brand new washer and dryer. How was he able to do all of these awesome things? Well, despite making a super large ISFL salary, he was a contestant on The Price Is Right this summer! It was pretty awesome for Howard as he was picked to play. When he aptly said “one dollar” and won the right to play a game, he was enamored with the fact that he got to play Plinko, easily the best of the game. After getting 5 Plinko Chips, Coward would win $16,750 dollars! That money, because it was “Sports Week”, went straight to charity. After spinning the wheel and getting to 95 cents, Coward made it to the showcase showdown. He was lucky enough to be only 752 dollars off the total amount without going over, which won him the Jet Ski, the Raptor, the cruise, and the Washer and Dryer. Of course, those things weren’t really “winnable” and yet again, the total prize cost was donated to charity. Howard decided that he wanted to experience winning like that, so he bought all of the things he would’ve won on the show and enjoyed them all this offseason! (265)
