Wing Gundam was invited to compete in the celebrity athlete edition of The Price is Right. He competed against other ISFL athletes to accurately bid on (and win) premium football equipment, premium watches and jewelry, luxury vehicles, and other prizes that were appropriately baller for the larger than life contestants.
Gundam performed admirably on the show. He made his way off contestant’s row after getting the price exactly right on a thick gold chain, which he then wore for the remainder of the episode.
The game that he played was the one where you have to arrange the numbers that you’re given to match the sale price of the prize. In a slight oversight by the show runners, the actual retail price of the custom lowrider El Camino was $99,999, so it was impossible for him to lose. Maybe they just wanted to get rid of the car.
Wing was most excited to spin the big wheel, but when he did it flew off its axle and into the crowd, maiming some inconsequential audience members. He did not progress to the showcase showdown.
