I always wanted to sing. It would have been my second priority thinking of a career path in the early days of my life. First was baseball player and second was singer. My idols in the singing world were very multi faced because I liked all kind of music from classic to pop. Just hated the hard core stuff like black metal.
My favorite singers in the classic world were Placido Domingo or Luciano Pavarotti. I saw a lot of operas in the past and liked a lot the Magic Flute from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or also Rigoletto from Giuseppe Verdi. In the pop world I am or was a huge fan of George Michael, Elton John, John Denver or the Animals
On multiple occasions I tried my voice in Karaoke bars and had my biggest success performing "The House of the Rising Sun" from the Animals, with Annie's song from John Denver or also songs from the Lyon King like "Can't you feel the love tonight". I also remember a Karaoke performance together with my daughter where we sang "Up where we belong" from Jennifer Warnes and Joe Cocker.
