Marty Crane is known for many things, but singing has unfortunately never been one of them. That didn't stop kid rock from reaching out to Marty to ask to feature him on his newest hit: Old School Hawk. At first Crane was reluctant to partner with the formerly well respected artist on account of his recent negative attention (turns out shooting cans of bud lite with an AR-15 is not widely accepted as being "cool"). Kid did make it clear that he regretted his bigoted video and wanted to show the world he is more accepting of change. What better way to display his new respect for people taking control of their own lives than bringing in Marty who recently made a huge change in his own life by leaving RB to become a ball hawking safety for Dallas/Chicago. The good news is that Marty didn't actually have to sing in the song. He only recited "new to you, but I've always been an old school hawk" for thirty to forty times while Kid Rock stares into the distance drinking a bud lite nodding. Surpising to no one the song was a massive flop. To date, the only person to buy the song on iTunes was Dewey Greenbeans who may or may not have been mocking Marty's failure.
