Following a heartbreaking last minute loss after a failed goal line score to the Honolulu Hahalua, New York Silverbacks Wide Receiver Sean Robinsean had this to say to the media in a post game interview.
"This is a good, honest .500 football team. We played .500 footy goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio footy. We lost a couple, guess what? We won a couple, too. But we never got too excited or let it go to our head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That's hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team didn't have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, balanced it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that's my 2060 New York Silverbacks. A good, honest .500 football team."
Spoken like a true leader. While New York may sit at .500, the Offense should look to turn things around quickly where a League 11th at 22.2 Points Per Game doesn't quite show the full story of an Offense that is League 3rd in total Yardage with 393.0 Yards Per Game.
