Growing up in elite New York socialite circles, Bertie was not really exposed to popular music types favoured by today’s youth, and instead developed his musical taste through a combination of recommendations from private tutors and solo exploration on YouTube. Eventually he settled on chap hop (a mixture of hiphop and elements of chappist and/or steampunk) as his preferred genre. As luck would have it, Bertie was having lunch with his agent in Baltimore where he spotted a familiar figure ordering a series of ornate cocktails. It was no other than Professor Elemental, and Bertie fell over himself talking about his favourite songs and videos. Learning that Bertie was a rising star in professional football, the Professor floated the idea of doing a random video shoot for his next song, where Bertie and a bespectacled English gentleman would throw a variety of increasingly rare sports paraphernalia at each other. Bertie dutifully performed this role the very next morning and is looking forward to the release of ‘Custard Tarts’ in the new year.
