16. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season? 5 TPE
Leo Simon Schwartz's rookie season in the DSFL was nothing short of spectacular. The defensive tackle showcased his prowess with an impressive record of 50 tackles, 4 sacks, and 3 tackles for loss throughout the season. His standout performance in individual games highlighted his impact on the field.
In Week 1 against the Norfolk Seawolves, Leo made a memorable debut with a game-saving sack and three crucial tackles for loss. This early display of skill set the tone for his season, establishing him as a force to be reckoned with. As the weeks progressed, Leo consistently demonstrated his ability to disrupt opposing offenses, culminating in a personal record of 7 tackles in a standout game against the Portland Pythons in Week 10.
Towards the end of the season Leo Simon Schwartz perhaps began to fall off a little bit. After opening on such a high note, it weighed heavy on his conscious that he needed to perform well for the rest of the season. As the season wore on with few memorable plays, it slowly eroded his conscious with concerns of even having one good game. As it slowly became evident that Bondi Beach would not make the playoffs, Leo Simon Schwartz pressed onward, grinding out his weekly training and strengthening to put in a nice performance towards the end of the season with several sacks over several games, and a plethora of tackles to hit the 'nifty fifty'.
What would Leo Simon Schwartz do differently? As he came off of Week 1's high, he slacked a little bit. Wasn't showing up to the gym as often as he should, and instead revelling in the company of gorgeous women who lusted for him after seeing how well he had done. As the high wore off, he realized that he had yet to make his name in this league, and the sobering reality of having 9 new children on the way has made him realize that he's got to keep his nose to the grindstone and put the work in to feed his family, lest he be relegated to the forgotten annals of seasons past.
21. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be? 2.5 TPE
As said above, Leo Simon Schwartz is going to be a father soon to 9 new children. As exciting as that is, 9 new mouths to feed on a DSFL salary might just not cut it. To make ends meet, Leo Simon Schwartz has contacted several production companies pitching the idea for a hit reality show starring him and his adventures. The show was picked up by FX and the first season will be debuting soon. It is kicking off with exploring the world of undergoing pregnancy with his 9 new baby mamas, and the first season will conclude with their first birthdays. (Spoiler, to save money Leo Simon Schwartz has declared a unipolar birthday party for all of his children on the same day!). The show has proven well in early rating amongst test audiences, and Leo thinks it will be a great hit. While the Bondi Beach Buccaneers were not consulted on the show, Leo has decided that it will be better to ask for forgiveness than permission as he starts dragging the camera crew and director through the locker room.
The show is called Gridiron Dad: Tackling Parenthood and debut's May 7th, 2060 on FX.
