14. Expansion Expansion Expansion! Tell us why you think the league should expand / not expand or include any ideas (in words) for team branding ideas you have or team locations.
Many people love the idea of expansion teams and it makes sense. A new team brings in a fresh new look to the league. It allows many of the more artistic and creative users of the league to brainstorm different logos for teams. It is a great outlet for people to showcase their skills. An expansion team could also bring more hype as it is something new. Many people love a new item or new idea that they can play with. Despite all of this, I think the league should not look to add any more expansion teams. If the league were to expand, I think it would have to include two new teams in order to keep the conferences both at an even number of teams. So now we are adding two new teams that need players. I don't believe the league is at the size where we can have two full teams of actual players. This would then lead to having more bots and that will just ruin some of the hype around game days. An option to try and get around having more bots would maybe be to try and make the DSFL smaller. I don't think that's a viable option though because the DSFL is very crucial for new members of the league to be able to get their footing and understand how everything works. I think another issue with new teams is the hype around them dies fast. At the start, everyone is crazy about how nice or clean the logo and mascot look but after a few seasons that wears off. On top of that, there is no history behind the team for people to hold on to. That is one of the under rated parts of the current existing teams is the old players that have played for them and the championships they have won.
21. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be?
Lyle Taylor would obviously be very excited to have a show starring them as it would feed his ego quite a bit. Taylor would use this show to become an even more popular 'yle' and use his new fame to become more powerful in the 'yle' community. I think the show would be called something along the lines of 'Keeping Up With the Yles'. The show would be a little glimpse in to the exclusive 'yle' group and give some sneak peaks in to their monthly meetings that they have together. Obviously, the producers would do some cooking with the edit to make it look like Lyle Taylor runs the whole group despite it being more of a democracy between all the members. Later in to the season it might show some of their ceremonies that are performed like the induction ceremony when a new member is brought in to the group. The show would also cover plenty of drama and be picked up by the Bravo network to air right after Vanderpump Rules.
22. Make a scouting report for any of the ISFL or DSFL draftees. Show their stats, abilities, TPE, or highlights.
Recently there was an incident in the NYS war room and the scout report for their first overall pick, Drake Wane, was accidently released: 'Drake Wane was the foundation to the Grey Ducks defense even as a rookie. Wane didn't have the craziest stat line over the season, but if you watched the film, you can really see a leader starting to form. Wane's biggest asset is his communication. It was apparent in their win over Norfolk in week 6 when the defense was able to shut down the offense and hold them to 10 points. Wane was calling out formations and it seemed like the Grey Ducks were always one step ahead of the Seawolves. We had a glimpse in to the locker room as well and we continued to see the leadership qualities of Wane. Always cheering up teammates and being there after some of the tough loses they had during the season. Drake Wane would be a huge asset to the team and must be drafted if available."
