Lyle has questioned his life if he had never discovered football in high school, and to be honest he feels if he never stepped onto that field to play with the pigskin, he would likely be in a kitchen cooking it. Lyle has always had a great interest in cooking and becoming a chef. He pondered the opportunity if he didn't make the South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs football team when he walked on that fateful day in his freshman year, Lyle had planned on applying to attend the CIA(Culinary Institute of America) the next year. He has an extreme passion in the cooking of the bayou and how he can make it translate well into a restaurant setting. Lyle makes one of the tastiest gumbo's this side of the Mason Dixon line and will challenge anyone who thinks they can cook a better one. But alas this something that Lyle has now put on hold until his football career is over, for the time being he just gets to cook for his teammates and that is just as rewarding.
