Dominic Reynolds heavily considered two different positions. Playing in the trenches was always going to be the end goal, but both offensive and defensive sides were intriguing. They was a time where defensive end looked like the position and he was going to end up chasing down and sacking quarterbacks. This felt like a fun position to play in and a great chance, but at the end of the day playing on the offensive line just felt like the right decision. I think had Dominic stayed on offense, he would've been drafted a little earlier in the DSFL draft since DE is a much more desirable position than offensive line. This would lead to him playing with completely new faces and having a much different locker room than where he ended up. But, I think his playstyle and character fits more with the offensive line group where he was able to earn being the offensive captain as well for his team. Had he been a DE, he would be surrounded by different faces and probably taken on a more selfish role.
