The biggest butterfly effect for Tony Scaletta happened prior to the DSFL draft when making his final decision for how he would enter the draft. Originally, Scaletta went to Long Island as a tight end and desperately wanted to continue working at the position. That dream would be altered when he was forced to play defensive end in college along with outside linebacker. When he had the opportunity to enter the DSFL draft, he once again debated the decision to return to his old position and become an offensive weapon for the DSFL. Had he gone in as a tight end, Tony Scaletta could have found himself on any other team that was hunting down a proper tight end for their playbook. His speed on the field would have gone well for the offense, and his tenacity would have gotten him plenty of attention for the ISFL. With the current ISFL, most would argue that Scaletta made the right choice in the real world.
