Doctor Who initially struggled with the decision to play as a defensive end. Having always been just as invested in their track and field career, it felt natural to use their speed on the football field as well. Who thought they would originally play cornerback or safety, but when Who looked around at tryouts they saw that there was a need at defensive end. Putting the team first, he tried out for the less flashy defensive position, and the rest as they say, was history. But what if Who had put their talents, and interests first? Been more self-serving? I think you would have seen a fierce, top Corner on the field. But would the decision to be more selfish from the beginning lead to a more player-first, less team-first player? A Doctor Who doing anything to get ahead? A villain story in the making?
Who knows (ha!)? Luckily we don't have to live in a world with a selfish Doctor Who.
